Elevated Controversy

When things seemed to have cleared for Unassuming Performer (UP) and Feisty Talent (FT), a rumor is going around that the two lovers are involved in an explosive controversy. When UP and FT became a couple, most were shocked as the two seemed to be from different worlds and do not seem to be a match. However, UP and FT found themselves falling in love and no opinion could stop them from formalizing their relationship. Time pacifies things and the two were left to the life they wanted to lead. Besides, UP seemed to be at his happiest with FT.
Nonetheless, paradise is but a fleeting idea. The life of the two seem to be on the edge these days. Apparently, old habits never die and an undesirable habit caught up with UP. Undisclosed circumstances could have led UP to act that is often associated with someone who’s not in a proper state of mind as a result of not being sober. Worse, UP and FT allegedly got into a fight and the stronger one prevailed. Allegedly, UP got physical with FT during one of his intoxication moments.
FT has always been known to be independent and outspoken. Thus, she will do what she feels is right and her career does not matter. Acting is not her bread and butter and even without showbiz jobs, she can live a stable life. People hoped that she and UP would find the peace they needed, but that might not be possible if the buzz is indeed true. Meanwhile, a rumor that FT has already filed a restraining order against UP is circulating as well.

Unfortunately, certain celebrities are under fire, as their behavior or at least, public perception has geared toward the negative. For example, a celebrity involved in a video scandal might lose all his/her endorsement. Hence, when a controversy hit Network Celebrity (NC), the buzz in the industry is that advertisers are reviewing her endorsements. Controversies are sure ways to slow down endorsement opportunities.
In the case of NC, one of her endorsements has allegedly put on hold a campaign that she and Her Partner (HP) had already completed filming. The said commercial was supposed to be aired any time this year. However, the company has been affected even prior to the airing of the said advertisement. Netizens have sent messages to the company that were not in favor of NC. Hence, the negativity in its social media accounts, was enough to make the company think twice, as a backlash might happen if the ad pushes through. Consequently, product sales and company image will be affected. As to NC being dropped as an endorser of the company is not confirmed, as only the said campaign with HP has been affected.

Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto are no longer a couple, but that hasn’t stopped the actor from being supportive of his former girlfriend amid a controversy romantically linking her with their fellow Star Magic artist, Gerald Anderson.
“JoshLia,” as they’re fondly called by their legion of fans, announced their change of status to being “best friends” in late June, following weeks of rumors that they have broken up.
Barretto’s ties with Anderson, her leading man in the romance film “Between Maybes,” became the subject of speculation in mid-July when the actor’s girlfriend of three years, Bea Alonzo, hinted of infidelity in her relationship with an Instagram post about having had “enough.”
Alonzo’s visible Instagram activities, including liking posts alleging an affair between Barretto and Anderson, led to the onscreen partners becoming the target of criticisms and allegations of cheating.
Alonzo has since revealed that Anderson did not accord her a formal breakup and “just started not talking to me.”
While Barretto’s mother Marjorie and sister Dani have already denied that she was a factor in the separation, the actress has notably remained tight-lipped despite persistent accusations.
Garcia, who just recently wrapped filming the zombie flick “Block Z” with Barretto, said he is “hurt” for his ex-girlfriend amid the intrigues tagging her as a third party.
“Siyempre, naging karelasyon ko rin si Julia. Nasasaktan ako for her, sa nangyayari, pero I think makakabangon naman siya,” Garcia told ABS-CBN News’ MJ Felipe on Thursday, just before the actor’s departure for the US for an “ASAP” show in San Jose, California.
Asked whether he believes the accusations, Garcia said: “Hindi ko masasagot ‘yan, e. Siguro, lahat ng mga tao may kani-kaniyang opinyon about sa nangyaring isyu.”
Barretto arrived shortly after Garcia at Ninoy Aquino International Airport on Thursday afternoon. Inside, they were photographed together, as seen in snaps released by “ASAP” on its official social media channels.
The two also appeared to be constant companions as they arrived in the US on Friday (Manila time), with photos showing them seated together on a shuttle, among others.
Garcia had earlier sent Barretto words of encouragement via text message, as seen in a screenshot posted by the actress on July 24.
“Malalampasan mo ‘yan. I know you, you’re the strongest girl na nakilala ko,” he told Barretto at the time.

The couple had to rectify the error to the point of approaching each of their godparents to sign the new documents again. In the process of fixing their papers, the couple encountered problems, which led to losing interest and sadly, falling out of love. Technically, Camille’s marriage to Martin was null and void.
Three years later, the presence of Andrew Wolff in the birthday celebration of Heart and Camille’s father was questioned. Netizens were quick to accuse Camille of playing around, not knowing that her “marriage” and relationship with Martin was over. Meanwhile, Andrew has never married and thus, he and Camille are free to be together.
