    2. Narrow minded thinking, everyday audition nya

  2. Nepo baby. Can’t blame the producers kung gusto nila tong kumita at mapag usapan.

    2. Kaya nga tinawag na artista, they become someone else in their roles.

    3. sana naisip nila who is AB in the movie and make it that way sa theater. Unless iniba nila ang background ni AB.

    1. well its a business , the producer wants someone known for the title role, kasi sino naman manood yan sa mahal ng tickets kung dawho ang bida

      Delete
    2. 1:27 you didn't answer the question

      Delete
    3. how did you know that the child really did not work hard for it? just because mayaman sila? magkakaiba ang pinagdadaanan ng tao so wala tayo sa position to invalidate anong pinagdaanan nya

    4. At 1:04 unfortunately, yes.

    5. 1:27am. Maraming theater productions na ang lead cast ay theater veteran rin pero nagso-sold out bec word of mouth. Unless di sila confident sa material? Haha

    6. @3:00 well kita nman s performance

  8. Of course private auditions ginawa for celebrities. Open audtions are usually done to see if they can get new talents. If meron they are usually become an understudy or an alternate cast in for the role.

  9. Hindi naman sya magvvoice out if hindi main cast audition yung dinaluhan nya. Pwede sya kasuhan if hindi totoo.

  10. Nasa Bagets run pa lang, nabanggit na ng marites university na magkakaron ng AB with Atasha on the lead. So I guess wala ngang audition.

    1. Hindi kikita kung da who si AB

    2. Paano mo nalaman? Pera nila yun, they will gamble it with what they want.

    3. I am not her fan hut let’s face it, business yan kaya ying may bame ang kukunin. Sad reality

    4. 1:58 Ang original Annie Batumbakal was Nora Aunor.

      Delete
    7. walang kita hindinpwede mag risk ang management knowing na sa resorts world ang venue so dapat sikat para panoorin

      Delete
    8. @1:56 ay parang di totoo yan, iba mundo ng theater showbiz, they dont care if sikat or hindi bsta talented.

    9. Marami theater shows na sold out kahit walang big star

  14. Sana naging transparent nalang sila na they are auditioning for a backup. Wala naman masama if si Atasha bet nila kunin. Sure she did audition para lang to see if pwede sya. Mamaya pala sobrang waley.

  15. That happens. Nag audition ako for a voice talent/dubbing job pero may dalawang kararating lang then they announced that the lead characters would go to those two.

    2. 10:57 They just arrived and hadn't read the script / performed yet. Apparently, they were appointed for the characters or had a separate audition.

  16. I doubt if may understudy to kasi maco-compare ang performance baka mas mag shine si understudy

    1. So kung totoong me auditions, bakit sablay pa din ang napili for the main cast?

  18. PBB is notorious for doing this lol. Medyo industry norm yung ganyang “casting process” for people na may connections.

Ang problema kasi, this is a theater production. Eh yan yung form of discipline na wala kang matatago kasi everything is done live, walang extra palabok, yung raw talent at skill ang bida. Tapos ang dami pa nila sa stage, so it’s not just about what you can do. You put one inexperienced person sa lead role mahahalata talaga once they’re surrounded with talented theater actors.

Kung may mga sikat at may pangalan man sila na inaabangan those actors have already proven and established themselves.

So walang redeeming factor halos. You can’t always say na “mabait at professional naman siya” because in these spaces professionalism also means you can do the job well. Like if this were some Wattpad show na completely different pero sobrang dali ng target points keri pa eh. But a theater production?

  19. real talk here:

Nepotism normalizes privilege over merit, the very mindset people condemn in politics, where names and connections outweigh qualifications.

This isn’t about who got the role. It’s about whether opportunities are truly earned or if some start the race halfway to the finish line.

Stop normalizing the system. Stop rewarding it with a platform.

  20. She has a good voice but she’s not fit for theater. Sa diction pa lang medyo kulang or maybe because of her accent. Sobrang layo niya compared to other theater actors. And please don’t say she was picked because she’s bankable.
Because if you were a real theater fan, you will watch not only because of the theater actors. Example, Huling El Bimbo. It was a hit.

At di pa cya marunong magtagalog

    ReplyDelete
