Ex Argument

People thought that the surprising breakup of Network Hunk (NH) and Brainy Beauty (BB) was smooth. When they parted ways, the post scenario was quiet. No one made a fuss and NH accepted he lost BB. They seemed to have had a strong relationship then and the promise of forever was imminent.

The reality was BB had big dreams for herself and her family. She knew her beauty was a stepping stone for her dreams and her intelligence compensated for the reality that physical assets were bound to fade away. Meanwhile, NH, though part of a strong network, was not in the position of having consistent job opportunities. His luck star was limited. Moreover, competition was making his path narrow.

Nonetheless, both probably woke up to the truth that love was not enough as BB seemed to dream beyond a showbiz career. Her opportunities in showbiz were limiting and thus, she knew she needed to act.

In one of their fights, a neighbor overheard their argument was about finances. NH allegedly blurted out that he was ready to return to his old life of having his body to be used by a benefactor to answer their financial needs. His defense was supposedly to guilt-trip BB.

Was this statement a validation of the rumor at the height of NH’s career that he used to have a benefactor who answered his material needs? The rumor subsequently died down as his relationship with BB gained traction.

Today, BB is happy pursuing her dreams without NH.
