Jessy Mendiola may be playing a mistress for an ongoing skit on the weekly gag show "Banana Sundae," but the actress said that she would never dare get involved in an affair in real life.
"Hindi ko naman po kaya iyon. Never," she told reporters on Thursday in a press conference celebrating the anniversary of "Banana Sundae."
Mendiola was tagged as the reason behind the famous split of Angel Locsin and Luis Manzano, whom she is currently dating. The "Maria Mercedes" star has since denied these rumors, and has also been cleared by the "Minute to Win It" host in the breakup.
In the same press conference, Mendiola also downplayed suggestions about a possible rift with Locsin, saying that she is willing to work with the "The Third Party" lead should she guest on "Banana Sundae."
"Why not 'di ba? Ngayon hindi ko po alam pero okay lang po sa akin. Hindi naman po ako ang may hawak ng show so susunod lang din po ako," she explained.

You Should Keep Calm
The network is known for its capability to make an unknown personality into a household name, and thus, the fans of CD were hopeful. After all, CD is the most promising in her batch and pleasantly looking, too. Then, of course, there are the doubters who believe that the time is too early for CD to be given a big break.
Thus, with social media abuzz with CD starring in the said project, her fans were excited as well. Given that the role is challenging, CD started her physical and mental preparation even if the target date of showing is still indefinite. Then, she was said to have even shot some scenes with her leading men. It seems that everything was in place and CD just had to make sure she was up for the role.
However, when a change in the tide comes, the little fish might have to give way. Well, apparently, the doubters won. After the fuzz that CD would be acting alongside with two hunks of the network, a recent announcement shocked her fans. Just like that, the network announced that Major Talent (MT) would now be in the project. Instead of creating a new role for MT, she would now be taking over the role assigned to CD. In a snap, CD’s big break dissolved.
To perhaps appease CD, she was included in a major project that boasts of a good cast as well. Of course, she will not be the lead, but she will play a significant role nonetheless. Instead of making a big deal out of her disappointment, CD realizes that making a fuss over being dislodged would not be a good career move. MT is a prime talent and compared to her, CD is really a nobody at this point. A wrong move on her part could jeopardize any plans the network might have for her. Hence, being quiet and calm over the incident was her best course of action.
