Just a Joke

Notably, the millions worth of each property sold also equates to substantial commissions on the part of the sales consultant, which explains why big real estate companies invest so much on their sales people thru extensive sales seminars, corporate ethics, personality development, among others. They don’t just hire anyone for the job. They make sure that each candidate is worth investing on and can truly represent the company's corporate image.
This half-Filipino Athlete FA who belongs to a Philippine team is making progress in international athletic standing. His team, composed of several members, gets to participate frequently in games abroad. As such, everyone's income in the team gets to progress, too.
FA's paycheck must have been substantial that he had thought of investing in properties, particularly in a high-end condominium.
In FA's search for a property, he met a pretty Sales Consultant SC who gladly accommodated him and gave him a rundown of several company projects/properties to choose from. FA got interested and he and SC exchanged contact numbers. Soon, txt messages and emails about the property were exchanged. SC was feeling convinced that a successful deal was forthcoming as FA really showed interest and even giving her regular updates.
FA seemed like serious a buyer as he also told SC that he would bring along his father saying that he was one of the purchase's decision makers. It was made to appear that the deal would be finalized soon.
On the day that FA was supposed to meet with FA for the final negotiation, he asked SC if she could just bring the papers to his place as he was quite sick and his coach instructed him to get some rest. Early on, SC also told FA that he lives alone.
SC became apprehensive, yet could not allow her feelings to rule over her. To be safe and sure, she replied to FA that yes, she was going to bring him the papers and that she would be accompanied by her immediate superior.
On hearing this, FA replied that SC could just come alone as his pad was too small to accommodate an extra person. SC said it was okay as the process would not take them long, but FA insisted that she could not bring another person along.
It was at that point that SC smelled something fishy...that something was afoot. Disappointed, yet thankful, she put her foot down and called FA a hoax. Further research led SC to find out that FA is one of team's 'bad' boys.

Vhong Navarro and Family Receive Threats

Vhong’s camp also asked the authorities if it is probable that the gun license of Cedric Lee and the men allegedly involved in Vhong’s beating be revoked. “We asked for a revocation and we have been assured that it will reviewed. Lahat po ng kanilang baril titingnan.”
However, Lee and Cornejo's counsel Atty. Howard Calleja argued that it is his client that needs protection. “If there’s one person that needs security, that needs special attention, that needs to be secured by the PNP, by the DILG, it should be Deniece Cornejo. Tingnan mo lang yung mga social sites e, sasabuyan kita ng asido, pagtatangkaan kita..”
Calleja also reiterated that Lee’s group didn’t have a gun. “That is also contradictory to the story again of Vhong. Sabi niya it was Cedric na nagtutok, e paano siya tutukan kung nauna siya kayCedric.”
Also, business partners of Cedric Lee, who didn’t want to be named, said they are already affected by Cedric’s involvement in this case. They expressed concern that some clients may pullout from their projects.
This is contrary to Atty. Calleja’s statement regarding his clients. “Ok naman, my clients are (in) high spirits. They know that the truth is with them, and as I said, they will face this case squarely.”

Meryll Soriano Reveals Ongoing Rift with Father Willie Revillame

Unfortunately though, her comeback was marred by her revelation during an interview at the ABS-CBN Trade Event on January 30 that she and her father, host-comedian Willie Revillame haven’t really spoken for a while now. The reason between their falling out according to Meryll was because she turned down her father’s offer for her to manage his businesses.
“Yes, because I’m not ready. I want to be deserving of that because it’s such a big responsibility and I really just want to finish school before I take that under my wing because I’m not ready,” she said, while adding, “We’ve had our differences because he wants me now and I really cannot.”
The actress had been taking up a Product Design course at the Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London before she took a leave last year following his withdrawal of financial support. According to her, it might “take time” for them to be able to mend their ties again.
Meanwhile, since Willie’s show went off the air in October of last year, there have been rumors that of gambling problems. While she neither confirmed or denied the rumors, Meryll stressed that her father has every right to spend his hard-earned money as he deems fit.
“I mean kasi di ba whatever he does with his life is his prerogative. He has worked hard for everything, for his wealth right now. So whatever he wants to do with that, we don’t have any right to judge or to say something about it because it’s his money,” she said.
Another issue which the actress addressed was the rumor that Willie has been selling off his properties to pay off his gambling debt. “I doubt it. I doubt it na binebenta niya dahil wala siyang work. Maybe it’s business. We cannot make speculations on that because we don’t know what’s happening in the open. I don’t really know as well. Wala rin akong personal na knowledge about it,” she said.
It has been four months since her father “retired” from TV. Does she think he’s having the time of his life just unwinding and travelling? Meryll thinks he’s actually bored because “my father naman really loves working. I really hopes he gets a new show because he really likes to entertain people.”
Another rumor going around is that Willie reportedly wants to make peace with ABS-CBN. Meryll expressed hope that this rumor would actually be true especially since, “My father naman has always been wise with his decisions so kung ano man ang magiging desisyon niya, I’m going to be happy to know that he’s back with ABS-CBN because they’re a perfectly compatible.”
Is There a Missing Link on the Vhong Navarro-Deniece Cornejo/Cedrick Lee Scandal?
The inconsistencies of events as they were narrated by them were overwhelming that can’t help but be suspicious that both sides might be covering up for someone/something bigger than them. Or aren’t they?
For example, Vhong went to Deniece's condominium unit on January 17, implying that they had a make out but no sex. After that, as he was in his car driving, girl texted him, "Bad ka," with Vhong assuming that Deniece wished something more had happened.
Let's play a devil's advocate here. Could it be that Deniece's boyfriend found out that meeting between her and Vhong and got mad and jealous, wanted to get back at Vhong that he texted Vhong using Deniece's cellphone to invite him again, which indeed happened January 22.
Remember that Vhong said that he found it weird that the tone of the text was quite unusual. After that Bad ka, succeeding texts from her beginning January 18 sounded sweet, like Deniece was inviting him, saying she would cook dinner for him, and she was calling him sweetie.
When Vhong went back to the condo on the agreed date and time, January22 at 10:30 pm or thereabouts, he was surprised that he was instructed to proceed, instead of being fetched from the lobby like the last time.
Vhong also found odd Deniece's reaction upon seeing him, " Bakit andito ka na, hindi pa ko nakakapaglinis? " Was it because she was really unaware that Vhong would come that night?
And if we are to speculate further, her words "Bakit andito ka na, hindi pa ko nakakapaglinis" were in fact hinting for Vhong to leave asap as he was already in great danger (with Cedric and company already in her unit).
Why was it that the first visit had Deniece fetched Vhong from the lobby, in the second, he was already ordered to proceed? Was it because someone inside the condo unit was threatening her that should she go down at the lobby, she would be in bigger trouble?
Among all the men who mauled and mangled him, why did Vhong only identified Cedric Lee and a certain Mike? For such a strong case, why was there a mutual agreement not to pursue or file a case? Could it be possible that there is a powerful personality allegedly involved that should not be identified?
Like I said, we are here playing devil's advocate. Until those involved can come up with more credible and believable statements, speculations like these will continue to pour in the minds of the public.
