While hundreds of ordinary citizens dream of making a career in showbiz, Network Actor (NA) is showing signs that he has lost interest in his career. The question of NA being saturated by his work in the past couple of decades seems to be the puzzle that people close to him are trying to understand and solve. When he started, NA was pitted against popular and more experienced contemporaries, but even if he were a newbie, he got the nod of critics and more importantly, the viewers approved.
Seeing a potential and bankable star, the management started to chart his career carefully. Instead of travelling along the ‘hunk’ path, NA was built up based on his talent and charm. The strategy paid off, as project after project, NA made the cash register ring. The management had a cash cow in its hands. However, with fame and fortune, something seemed amiss with NA. Rumors had it that he had a love for alcohol and was uncontrollable under the spirit. However, alleged commotions in bars involving a drunken NA only filled gossip pages. The network was quick to do damage control and thus, any negative rumor concerning NA was immediately erased.
Fans are forgiving and still, NA showed tremendous improvement in his craft and earned a huge following as well as respect from fans and critics. The younger generation looked up to him and companies considered him as an ideal endorser.
As years passed, NA could not seem to settle down in terms of finding the love of his life. His relationships did not escape rumors that pertained to private behavior. Such rumors were dismissed as merely the figment of imagination, as there were no issues that could be hurled at NA. He had such a clean image that any accusation of his wrongdoing was dismissed.
However, times have changed and his management could not pinpoint the exact point when NA started what seemed to be a meltdown. While others think it was his right to express his true self, others were concerned because he was a role model for others. Nonetheless, this time, videos could no longer lie and NA behaved questionably. For observers, NA had thrown out everything he built. Although peers and fans expressed support, the management is having doubts.
There was a time when the management did everything to sign him up. This time, given his actions, the management is already thinking twice if he deserves to remain part of their lineup. Thus, whether he gets to be signed up again remains hanging in the air, and if he still has a bright future with his management seems to be in the dark. For now, NA seems to have his priority clear, that is, to have control of his search for himself.
