Alleged Mistress Lesson #1
Having a mistress or mistresses is sometimes a sign of machismo for the man. The man would brag that women gravitate towards him and that he has no right to refuse. Sometimes, the man would be the one to convince the woman to be his second of third. Today, women are wiser and they will not be relegated to second place without any tradeoff. Lucky are the women who would have benefactors who are generous and kind.
There was once a time when Kind Celebrity (KC) thought that fame and fortune were the goals of one’s existence. Thus, when KC realized he could have everything, he allowed the material world to take over his life even if his actions were slowly chiseling the foundation of his family. With money and popularity, KC was introduced to several celebrities, who had their own agenda in establishing his acquaintance. One of these celebrities that made a lasting impression on KC was Wise Woman (WW).
WW has been in showbiz and established her name through vast exposure in movies, TV shows, and in business. When her genre slowly faded, WW reinvented her image to make sure the audience will not forget her. Because WW was attractive, articulate, and witty, KC found her attractive. However, out of respect for KC, their alleged relationship became the subject of blind items and no one dared expose them.
However, that was the past. KC and WW have both moved on and realized what mattered most. Then, one day, KC received a call from WW, who was in a financial bind. The entrepreneurial ventures of WW were failing one after the other and her loans were due. Thus, she asked KC if she could sell the house he allegedly gave her. KC agreed, but there was one problem – the house was still under his name.
Nonetheless, one house is nothing compared to a happy family. Without making a big deal, KC said that he would sign the transfer papers if the transaction would be done confidentially. He did not want his name dragged in another controversy if the press manages to sniff out the transaction. KC had worked hard to keep his family intact and if his name resurfaces and gets connected with WW, that might mean unwanted attention. Quietly, WW prepared the papers and KC signed. WW was able to sell the house and pay off her debts.
Well, in the case of WW, being a mistress paid off literally. Moreover, WW knew how to play her cards right. She kept quiet during and after their alleged affair. She avoided any possible scandal that would drag KC in the picture. KC obviously appreciated that act.

Such Martyrdom Must End
Patience is a virtue, as the cliché goes. People who manage to face intrigues with poise and level-headedness are often admirable. Yet, being human prevails and often, one succumbs to the abuse, exclaims ‘Enough is enough,’ and finally acts on the issue.
Celebrities are expected to have a strong rope when it comes to being patient with the issues they face in their professional and personal lives. Social media, which has allowed so much freedom to react and bash, fans the flame of issues and celebrities who have had enough sometimes suffer from a meltdown. On the one hand, a celebrity would incessantly respond to the basher/s without mincing words or would report such account to the admin of the social media. On the other hand, a celebrity could find support through the words of encouragement of his/her followers in social media.
When Feisty Actress (FA) revealed that all was not well in her personal life, she used social media to expose her story. Surprising the public, FA was not prepared for the reaction of those who followed her account. Instead of getting the usual bashing, FA received so many words of support for her plans, and thus, she tried to regain her strength while her world was crumbling.
Given that the revelation of FA was deep, questions on the causes of her troubles surfaced. Through social media, however, the points raised by FA were indirectly confirmed. The actions of FA were not done at the spur of the moment. Sometime ago, rumors that her relationship status was in jeopardy made it to the grapevine. FA was not one who would react easily, and so, such rumor died as quickly as it started.
Nonetheless, the story that is circulating is that FA knew of her husband’s alleged affairs, but opted to keep quiet about it for the sake of the image of their marriage. After all, she is a celebrity and such could destroy the image of her happy family. Then, the kids would be devastated if their parents separated. One day, FA noticed that some of their properties have been sold by Her Husband (HH) allegedly. If their properties have been sold, the effect of the cash should be felt by FA and her kids. Unfortunately, that was not the case.
The law has it that properties acquired during marriage become conjugal or shared by the husband and wife. Hence, ownership of the sold properties was shared by FA and HH, but the former never knew of the proceeds until she discovered the painful truth. The earnings from the sale of their properties never reached FA because HH had to make sure alleged His Mistress (HM) was happy with her standard of living. Thus, the money was used to buy designer bags, to finance trips abroad, and other expenses.
The truth hurts and while FA could tolerate the womanizing behavior of HH, she lost her cool when she found out about their sold assets. They do have children, whose future could be affected if they wake up one day with all their earnings siphoned off to the mistress. Hence, FA did what she did and stopped her martyr-like behavior. She was crossed and the fury of a hurt wife is best avoided, especially if she came prepared for her battle.
