Just Keep on Chasing After the Much-Coveted Role
For a long time, there was much speculation about the hunt for the actress to play the much-coveted lead role in a soap. For months, The Network TN strived to stir public interest on the project and treating it to a guessing game as to who would finally clinch the title role.
On social media, TN teased the public to get their pulse and feel of the much-talked about character. While at it, TN was also giving hints, errr preference for a Beautiful Actress BA to play the role. In fact, some TN executives were already congratulating BA for the privilege.
BA was all too excited to have been considered, feeling so blessed to be preferred given the competition. It seemed like the full backing of TN was on her – only short of officially proclaiming her.
BA was excitedly giving/dropping hints to her social media followers who were only too happy and excited for her. She posted photos and captions that gave it all away. Yes, it was as if all systems go for her as she guested in several TN programs with her showing up playing the part that made viewers assumed it was already BA, bar none.
While that was going on, another very Hopeful Actress HA was also assuming that the role would be hers. Was HA oh so excited that she threw an advanced party to celebrate at a popular beach resort?
Yet, unknown to the public, some meetings allegedly took place among TN top guns and producers for deliberations on important matters pertaining to the project. At the meeting, Focus Group FG allegedly reported that it was not keen on BA for the role as FG felt the project won't make money as she lacked charisma and mass appeal.
Instead, FG recommended HA. The Network Boss NB thus viewed some episodes of HA's recent project and was so disappointed. She said HA's acting was a major failure with no impact, saying she just didn't have it.
All told, after thorough discussions, TN zeroed in on Controversial Actress CA for the role, crediting her for her many endorsements and social media influence. It was quick. CA was caught off-guard, most surprised when word got to her only two days before TN's official announcement.
To people concerned, hope these words of wisdom will guide you:

A Lesson Learned
Although still relatively new in the business, more and more showbiz followers are getting so pissed at the gall of this Hunk Actor HA. At the outset, HA made no bones in making his wishes and demands known to people everytime, whether they be fans or colleagues.
It has been written and said that stars, especially newbies ought to practice the unwritten rule - "pakikisama" and the art of being tactful. The competition is awesome. Learn to play your cards right. One false move and you’re doomed.
Observers allege that the mediocre HA is just very lucky to have been at the right place and at the right time. Much of his commercial success he owes considerably to a Prominent Star PS who had apparently raised HA's star status so quickly. In no time, HA was swamped with endorsements and became in-demand in shows both here and abroad.
But inspite of this, instead of gratitude and willingness to share his blessings to the people who paved the way for his success, showbiz insiders/followers find HA to be full of attitude.
HA was once invited to the thanksgiving party for the success of the soap in which he was a part of. At the party, HA was overheard to have uttered something like this (translated to English), "I didn't get a good exposure there." Those who heard HA were so irked for his sentiments on the soap that helped catapult him to where he is now.
The seemingly arrogant HA cares not for colleagues and co-workers especially those who work behind the camera. Unlike other stars who give even without being asked, HA is reportedly tight-fisted.
Last Christmas, HP was invited to the party of Network Unit NU in charge of the said soap. HA gave a few thousands as his contribution for the event. The people in NU were flabbergasted and with HA's fake gesture.
That act of HA was reportedly the last straw for the NU Boss NB who felt so insulted. Immediately, he ordered that HA's money be returned asap. Not only that, NB wanted to teach HA a lesson and made sure it would hit him where it hurt the most.
And true to his word, not long after, network people and fans were shocked when NB announced the unfolding of a new soap that will star PS in the lead role - without HA – but with a Multi-awarded Actor MA.
Fans and observers couldn’t believe their eyes and ears at the sudden turn of events. They were not prepared for something so quick and mind-boggling. At any rate, it was HA's comeuppance – a lesson he had to learn - the hard and painful way.

David Bunevacz Breaks Silence on Vhong Navarro Case
Source: www.abs-cbnnews.com
In a statement sent to ABS-CBN News, Bunevacz, who was once Lee's partner in a cosmetic clinic business, said hearing what happened to Navarro brought back memories of pain caused by his ex-business partner.
"I have heard of what happened to Vhong and Cedric and it greatly saddens me. It painfully brought back memories of our own tragic experience almost seven years ago," he said.
Bunevacz then shared the physical and emotional hurt Lee has caused him and his family that forced them to leave the country.
"Like Vhong, I was wrongfully accused, held against my will, physically violated, terrorized and death-threatened. It was in 2007 when we decided to leave the country for fear of our lives and the lives of our children. It was as if the rug was pulled from under our feet in an instant," he said.
In a previous report, Jessica Rodriguez, Bunevacz's wife, narrated in an affidavit executed in Los Angeles, California, where the their family flew after the alleged mauling, about her husband's "badly beaten" state after meeting with Lee and their other partners.
Rodriguez's claims that threats were being received by their family from the mobile numbers of Lee and another partner, Tyrone Ong, days after the incident in 2007.
Lee and his group, however, denied the allegations before the National Bureau of Investigation.
Bunevacz and Rodriguez were later charged for estafa for alleged misuse of the clinic's funds during their stint as president and marketing director, respectively.
Seven years after the incident, Bunevacz said their family has forgiven Lee and has since found peace.
"Today, the physical pain and emotional burden have since then healed, and by the grace of God, we have found peace away from them all," he said. "Happiness has found us again because we chose to forgive the way the Lord has also forgiven us. We have lifted everything up to the Lord for He is sovereign."
But Bunevacz is still hoping that they will finally get the justice they seek, especially now that Lee is involved in another mauling case.
"What happened to Vhong is not the first time such a crime had been committed. It is clear that evil deeds are being exposed. I pray that this will be the last time that it will happen," he said.
"We continue to pray that one day, the truth about the accusations publicly hurled against us will be known and we will finally get our justice."
