Lacking Positivity

When TG and The Boy TB started dating, many cast doubts and predicted a short lifespan for their relationship. But they were proven wrong as the couple seemed to sincerely love each other. But throughout their quiet affair, only a few were privy enough to know what could have been.
There were some hush-hush that TG and TB did encounter some setbacks in their relationship for quite a while. Allegedly, one of them, believe it or not, was about finances. Reportedly, TG was already tired of having to spend more to keep such a relationship going. TG felt she didn’t have to, much more deserve that.
Comparing the couple's financial status, one will likely conclude that there is a big disparity. TG with her income from television and movies plus endorsements definitely earns more compared to TB who only gets a certain amount from his group and very few endorsements if at all which are never enough since he has to take care of his family, too.
In fact TB was often running short of funds such that he had to resort to selling his car to an actor so he could cover some obligations. Compared to TG's previous relationship, critics believe that TB is definitely a downgrade.
TG supposedly felt the need for more focus on her professional career rather than be consumed and burdened by so many distractions, TB included. Knowing how circumspect TG can be when it comes to such aspect as stability especially for her family whom she puts so much premium on, TG felt she would have no secure future with TB.
On top of that was the fact that time was becoming more and more scarce for both of them to spend for each other, as their schedules didn't allow them to. Everything just added up. She got burnt out, grew tired of the whole thing.
In any relationship, money may not be everything, but it sure is going to count.

Sharon Cuneta Pledges P10-M for 'Yolanda' Victims

Sharon Cuneta pledged P10 million for victims of typhoon Yolanda –P5 million each to two organizations, the Aboitiz Foundation (the corporate foundation of the Aboitiz Group) and the Alagang Kapatid foundation (the corporate social responsibility arm of TV5).
In a tweet to the Aboitiz Foundation on Monday, November 11, Sharon said: “Please expect a check of PHP5 million from me tomorrow.”
She added: “The other PHP 5 million plus, please expect tomorrow as well, @alagangkapatid. This is how much I believe in you both. God bless VISAYAS. #BangonVisayas”
The actress is a contract star of TV5 and was an endorser of Aboitiz SuperFerry.

Other stars are also giving back to victims. Kapamilya actress Anne Curtis, she announced on her Instagram account, sold her personal items in garage sale held in a mall in Taguig City on Sunday, November 10. The proceeds of the sale are for the benefit of the typhoon victims and will go to World Vision Philippines.
The Kapamilya actress later announced that her garage sale earned P370,000.
“Still! This is hardly enough, WE NEED TO DO MORE!!!!!” Anne posted on her Instagram account. “Let’s continue to raise awareness and inspire people to do their part. YOU can even do something in your own little way.”
Regine Velasquez-Alcasid will also hold an online auction and sale of her personal items for the benefit of the victims. The items to be sold include signature bags, shoes, and clothes. Her husband, Ogie Alcasid, will also be selling his watches.
Meanwhile, Ormoc Representative Lucy Torres-Gomez revealed on her Instagram account that TV host-actress Kris Aquino donated P400,000 for the victims of Yolanda.
Celebrities continue to ask their followers to help in typhoon relief operations, such as Angel Locsin who is helping out Philippine Red Cross and Dingdong Dantes via his Yes Pinoy Foundation.

Calling a Spade a Spade

It has now become common knowledge that the unstoppable CM for all her sweet and wholesome onscreen persona is not one to take things lightly in defense of her loved ones. It is never a fiction when we hear of CM taking the bullet for them when push comes to shove – anytime, anywhere.
Not too long ago when CD got embroiled in a controversial love affair, CM's overheated temper was put to a test once more as she did not mince words in lambasting the people she believed caused her CD so much pain and heartaches. At that time, CM didn’t care for the consequences of her actions as long as she believed people paid for the injustice done to CD.
In the final run 'though, CM paid dearly for it.
Of late, CD has been visibly active socially, getting spotted elsewhere having dates with desirable guys in town, which she would downsize as just harmless, friendly dates. Expectedly, malicious talks point otherwise, saying that those dates were beyond friendship, especially that one she had with Heartthrob Actor HA.
During a mini media event in one Network NE, CM was asked about her take on HA's revealing his feelings for CD which media had been feasting on for days. CM was quite relaxed in her answer but pointedly told the reporter that HA was definitely okay with her for CD. But her last statement somewhat caught everyone off-guard when she said, "At least HA does not look like he is out to use a woman to look like a man."
