Taking Control

As the cliché goes, people can only control things within their grasp. Being in control can bring affairs in order and be successful if all parties cooperate. Apparently, Versatile Performer (VP) took matters into her own hands to ensure stability and flow in her life.
Making sure her journey with Her Man (HM) will not have bumps, VP did what she thought was right. For example, although HM was able to help out in his previous commitments, VP knew it was not enough. Hence, VP stepped in to fill the gaps. Subsequently, all parties were happy. With his commitments fully answered, HM could focus on his life with VP.
However, HM had to adhere to certain conditions. These conditions focused on appeasing VP, making sure she had peace of mind. With nothing to worry about, VP could focus on her career and make a living for the family.
VP would shower the family with necessities and gifts. Things went without hassle as HM was cooperative. VP consequently was able to gain the endearment of HM’s extended family. Years passed and VP can only say that she succeeded in making sure love won.

How true? Sometime ago, Network Actress (NA) disappeared from the limelight. NA was homegrown. Fans saw her development as merely a pretty face into someone who can be reliable when it comes to drama roles. As time passed, the audience learned to love NA and followed her career.Nonetheless, the audience did not just follow her career, but also NA’s love life. NA’s love life was as colorful as some of the roles she had played. She was even accused by fans as the cause for the breakup of a couple’s relationship. Of course, NA denied any involvement but the couple no longer had a relationship to look back at.
Given that she’s not getting younger, NA decided to put her once public life into private mode. NA limited her public appearances. She slowed down on working until her visibility in the media became zero. Even her publicity diminished unlike when she was at the peak of her career. NA's choice meant giving up a lifetime’s worth of career hardship.
NA’s ‘disappearance’ from the scene, meanwhile, has prompted many assumptions. One of these speculations is that NA has cemented her absence from the hustle and bustle of the entertainment industry with motherhood. With her visibility seemingly tightly guarded, fans await any news that will come from her camp.
