Another Temptation

Money talks and often, the highest bidder gets the person his/her money can buy. Time and again, rumors have it that certain personalities are still involved in connecting female celebrities with wealthy men whose only words are “Name her price.” Attraction and lust come together, as clients no longer regard the cost.
The most popular targets are female celebrities who are easily recognized as a result of having their faces in print ads, TV commercials, and various media appearances. Thus, possible clients have a field to choose from. However, not every celebrity has a price and transactions are done in secret. Wrong assuming that a female celebrity is open to such transaction can cause major embarrassment or worse, a possible report to the police.
Still, no female personality who has benefitted from such deals would dare expose the practice. As they say, such dealing is an open secret in the industry. Popular names are even alleged to be part of the system that fixes such appointments for a certain fee. Thus, such personalities are the ones who are being contacted by rich clients.
When Rich Client (RC) contacts Presumed Middleperson (PM) for possible bookings of dates, PM discretely makes the transactions. Sometimes, female personalities in need of money, as a result of lack of projects or income source, keep their lines open for PM to arrange appointments. In the case of RC, he is very careful in dealing with PM and her girls. When one of the girls RC dated found herself in an incident that would not be good for her career, PM asked for financial help from the man.
Although RC hesitated, he did not want to ruin his good relationship with PM. He was already thinking of Someone Else (SE), which is why he gave the money PM requested. The problem is if SE would be interested in going through such a transaction. These days, SE is among the busiest talents of a network and money is not a problem. Moreover, SE is rumored to be happy in her personal relationship, and definitely, many would be hurt if she adheres to any offer from PM and RC. So now, the waiting begins if and when SE would be tempted by money alone.

Covering Up

While senior and well-respected celebrities would always remind the younger generation never to forget their roots, Acclaimed Actor (AA) has deaf ears. Unlike many famous personalities today, AA started as a nobody. AA was poor, had no showbiz connections, and did not belong to any showbiz royalty. In short, AA needed to act quickly to elevate his lifestyle.
AA did odd jobs to make ends meet and during one work day, he was spotted as a potential actor. Between that job and acting, AA opted for the latter, which was easier, no doubt. AA started with small projects and sometimes, he did not even get credit for his appearances. Such did not matter as long as he was paid.
Typical of other actors with similar background, AA had to follow the stereotypical path of accepting projects within the short term. The promise, of course, was that sooner or later such roles would give him entry into the mainstream production houses. AA landed roles that required him to bare skin and even shed all clothing in a scene or two in front of a rolling camera. Then, he had to take on roles that no mainstream actor would actually consider. AA was soon noticed for his daring moves and subsequently, his acting.
Nonetheless, unlike other actors who succumbed to the pressure of daring roles and the impatience of having to wait for the big break, AA stuck to his dream. Role after role, his acting improved and lesser clothes were shed. Soon, AA was turning a new leaf and all his acting jobs were wholesome roles.
With successful projects, AA now had control over projects he wants to work on and people he wants to deal with. He has strict rules during press conferences. Any question concerning his past is not allowed. In an attempt to erase any memory about his start, he allegedly paid his former producers so they would not sell or stream online any of his past movies. Worse, he has shunned the times when he would allegedly be open for bookings for benefactors who are well-connected with the industry.
