    4. sus ang hilig mag discredit sa nanay na nagpalaki rin sa kanya. stop pitting them or comparing. credit goes to Sharon and Kiko on how well they raise their children. even frankie acknowledges that.

  10. Medyo inggit ako. My parents aren't showy, and I don't remember both of them saying affectionate things to me. They're on the formal side, but I guess love for their kids mean they provide what we need growing up minus tender moments. What both wanted was their kids being independent. I was 15 when I joined college and they barely visited, nor did I felt homesickness that I was somewhere far from where I grew and family. I'm an expat now and I still don't know how being homesick feels, but I do wonder time and again how would it have been if I had easy and friendly camaraderie with my parents.

    1. Heheh baliktad tayo. Pati nga lunch time pumupunta siya. Tipong I feel really loved by them. Sila ung magagandang pangbalanse.

    2. Medyo pareho tayo 213. But my parents were busy with work as in kayod kalabaw kasi farmers. Other than that, pareho tayo. I also miss my parents pero wla talagang homesickness sa amin. But I try my best nman to help my parents.

    4. 2.13 di bale na, you can foster that camaraderie when you yourself have kids.

do to your kids what you would’ve wanted your parents to do to and for you...

    5. Sister, some kids go to boarding school at age seven. Rich white kids problems.

There was a study conducted about the biggest regret of people on their dying days, and it was not that they wished they could have earned more money, or became more famous, rather , that they spent more TIME with loved ones. I think your dad was not clingy per se, but he didn’t wanna have this regret before passing away,He wanted to spend time with you, and did. He got it. Kay palad mo. As a parent or future parent, it makes one reassess one’s priorities. Thanks for sharing.

    3. Sharon made sure she lived in a nice apartment while studying in France. Ang swerte nga niya. She was also free to travel around during those times.
