    2. Have you guys listened to Gen. Galvez' explanation about the purchase of Sinovac? Magbasa muna bago mag comment.
In UAE Sinovac has 76% efficacy and in Turkey, 90%+. Singapore first bought it.
Many health workers seem not to be updated in medical news.

    3. 6.39 Sinopharm po sa UAE.

    4. 6:39 - I READ FROM A NEWS OUTLET NA 50% LANG. PFIZER'S IS 90% AT MAS MURA PA. BAKIT SINOVAC? SOMETHING'S FISHY.

    6. So efficacy of the vaccine is lower than survival

    7. 6:39 yes binasa namin, and funny thing is, official records show otherwise.

    8. correction- Singapore has tons of cash and entered into agreement with many promising COVID Vaccine maker that time. kumbaga- it did not put all its eggs in one basket. all of them will still be entered into clinical trials. it so happen that Pfizer has made the cut approved by HSA. Sinovac will also go into trial here in Singapore but if the efficacy rate is 50% I doubt na gagamitin yan dito. that's how transparent and honorable government officials here are.

  2. Mga baks question lang, dito sa US two doses ang vaccine namin. Ganun din ba ang gagawin sa Pinas? Kse if you can’t choose atleast sana ipaalam naman sa tuturukan kung ano ang vaccine nila.

    1. I think it's procedural that there'd be a card given to the vaccine recipient indicating which vaccine was jabbed. Thereby, the same vaccine should be given on the second dose.

    2. 2 doses din. But the govt chose the most expensive but least effective vaccine from China.

      Delete
    3. 1:33 bakit pinili ang pinaka mahal? Sorry clueless here.

      Delete
    4. 12:47 depende. If Pfizer n Moderna, there 2 doses needed. I think Astra Zeneca is one dose only. I am not sure of the Chinese brands but my friend said that it is one dose. The one from Johnson n Johnson is only one dose.
The government chose Sinovac, though quite high but that was the one that was willing to supply us early. Those American n Btitish brands give priority to their countries and other rich Western nations and Japan. Kaya nga pati Indonesia sa Sinovac muna. Kasalanan ni Duque ito.

    5. 2-doses ang moderna.

      2-doses din ang Pfizer

which are yan ang gamet sa USA.

      Delete

    7. 2 doses talaga

      Delete
    8. Uy 2 doses din ang astrazeneca baks

      Delete
    9. As far as I know, every brand will be injected in 2 doses. Nakaka pagtaka lang na ang least efficacy which is Sinovac and Sinopharm from China eh the most expensive compared sa Pfizer at Astra Zeneca. Novavax and Covaxin, both from India eh much cheaper, kapag na approved.

    11. On paper, one of Sinovac's main advantages is that it can be stored in a standard refrigerator at 2-8 degrees Celsius, like the Oxford vaccine, which is made from a genetically engineered virus that causes the common cold in chimpanzees.

Moderna's vaccine needs to be stored at -20C and Pfizer's vaccine at -70C.

It means that both Sinovac and the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine are a lot more useful to developing countries which might not be able to store large amounts of vaccine at such low temperatures.- BBC News

They did not push through with the Pfizer and Astazeneca deal. Kaya galit ang mga tao, Pfizer could have delivered as early as January.

      Delete
    9. You don’t get the point. You can’t choose the brand but the government can choose the brand that has a high efficacy rate. Di pareho ng made in China mas mahal at mababa efficacy.

      Delete
    10. Baks, US yan, di nila titipiran ang kalidad ng bakuna regardless of the brand.

      Delete
    11. Hindi issue sa America kasi either Pfizer or Moderna lang naman which is fully vetted. E sa Pilipinas made in China.

      Delete

    17. 113am - You can have all the Sinovac, Baks! Iyo na lang lahat! Big deal for us because that is taxpayer's money that they are using to purchase the vaccines. That is OUR money! So may right kami to choose!

      Delete
    22. @5:38am, Sa UAE, naunang gamitin ang Sinopharm, not Sinovac, although both from China eh different company. From October 2020 nag start ng mag bigay ng vaccine s UAE using Sinopharm. Then on December 22, Pfizer vaccines arrived in Dubai and the very next day, the whole Dubai started giving Pfizer vaccines, aside from Sinopharm. There were designated health facilities for Sinopharm and Pfizer. No health facilities used the same brand. But so far wala pa namang nairereport na may masamang epekto ang nag pa vaccine ng Sinopharm. Like me, I got the 1st dose of Sinopharm last Jan 7. My 2nd dose will be injected on Jan. 28th.

    23. Depende po kung saang State sa US ka pero sa amin you can choose kung Pfizer or Moderna yung kukunin mo. Mas konti pa lang yung supply sa Moderna kaya yung mga may gusto sa Moderna either have to wait or mag Pfizer na lng. I already got the first shot sa Pfizer vaccine.

  22. In fairness, natawa ako. Iba ka vice. Lol. But on a serious note, may point si vice. Kalusugan mo yan, safety mo yan, life mo yan dapat lang maging choosy. Kaya nga kayo inilukluk ng taong bayan kase umaasa sila na poprotektahan nyo sila at all cost di yung balakajan. Hay!

  23. She looks ridiculous but she is right. Chinese vaccine is only 50% effective and with questionable papers because they don’t publish their studies, unlike the western vaccines where all papers and studies are open for review by experts.

  24. There is no way that I will take the Chinese vaccine for myself and my family. Can’t trust it at all.

  29. just because it's expensive doesn't mean it's the most effective. in an ideal world, a vaccine could be dlivered in one shot, so supplies could be stretched to cover a lot of people. it would trigger no side effect more significant than a sore arm. and it would be easy to ship and store. unfortunately, this is not an ideal world -- not yet anyway.

  30. I think it is better if every private individual who is willing to pay for a better vaccine to pool its resources and have someone buy either pfizer or moderna for us. Ako willing to pay for a better vaccine for my family just make sure its pfizer or moderna.

  32. Buti naman nagising to. Diba DDS to dati?
The fact that it came from China just adds to it.

  34. Im not pro government and I had the same mindset as you; I never wanted to be injected with Sinovac. But after some research, narealize ko it is the best choice. Pfizer and Moderna uses mRNA technique which was never been used before. Sinovac uses inactivated virus (traditional/similar to flu, chickenfox, hepa a vaccines). Also, Sinovac held the most clinical trials in the world - Asia, Middle East and Latin America. Top execs in my company has participated and had their antibodies checked after the 2nd dose and tumaas significantly ung antibodies nila. So please do your research before getting vaccinated and have an open mind. China is corona free because of Sinovac.

    2. Hindi democratic ang China. Galawang CCP sila which they try to hide the truth from the public, Tinanggi na nga nila sa simula pa lang na walang covid sakanila until it spiral out of control na naging epidemya hanggang sa naging pandemic. Kaya yan china is covid free mo na yan? Girl please. I highly doubt it.

  35. If I have the choice, cyempre I'll choose Pfizer and Astra/Zeneca next. But because Du30 is prioritizing Sinovac and Sinopharm from China, what choice do average Pinoys have? As per Dr. Fauci an expert Immunogist and Director of National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, it's better to have vaccine than nothing. As long as it passed the range of 50% efficacy.

The US and EU are experiencing another surge in Covid19 cases... so uunahin pa ba nilang supplyan ang Pilipinas? well kung kaya nyong maghintay ng ilang taon sa Vaccine nf Pfzer... Gora lang.
