    5. Probably not. This happened to my sister and she was really frustrated. Ni let go na lang instead mainis and mastress lalo dealing with PAL. See if hindi pa sa IG pinost and I think verified account kaya yan binibigyan attention right away.

    6. There is certain amount that you can claim for damaged luggage max of 2.5K USD, not enough to replace a Rimowa luggage unless my separate insurance sila for this brand.
      I guess, iba pa rin talaga ang treatment if sikat. ☹️

  5. Ganyan nangyari sa kakilala ko. Nasira luggage, nilagyan lang ng tape. Hindi man lang pinalitan, "OFW" lang kasi siguro. Hindi celeb.

    First time OFW sya, yun yung 1st time nya bumalik ng Pinas. Hindi daw nya kasi alam gagawin.

    2. Korek! But that does not mean basta mura bibilhin na. Kilatisin din mabuti at wag mag rely sa price. Expensive does not always mean durability. Hinahagis lang ang mga maleta dahil kelangan mailabas agad (syempre kung matagal ang labas Magwawala ang mga pasahero).

Korek kaya ako when I bought to luggages in 2011 when I left pinas for the US, I’ve never changed them because first of all I’ve grown to love them and I know that it’s useless to buy another luggage knowing that it will be ruined by careless strikesoil individuals who don’t care not value other people’s belongings hehe

    5. I agree. Had 2 unpleasant encounters with PAL FA’s in the past. Kaya every time I go abroad, I fly with ANA or JAL. Japanese people knows what customer service is.

    2. Yeah dapat mag proper training sila sa mga personnel nila... naka experience din ako ng rude na flight attendant ng PAL lalo na yung mga medyo may edad na cabin crew nila iba treatment nila sa mga foreign passengers kumpara sa amin na “ofw lang”.

    4. True yan! When we went to japan early this year, we boarded PAL and mind you then stupid fat flight attendant wanted to take my sister’s food plate when she’s not yet done. Tinignan ko ng masama yung alila ng eroplano kaya umalis!

  11. Pwede yan ireport sa airport check your airline for compensation for damaged or lost luggage. Mag fill up ng form and in a week or two may compensation comparable to your luggage that was damaged.

  12. Kala ko naman matibay ang rimowa, sobrang mahal eh.
    Pero grabe talaga mga cargo loaders dyan sa airport, hinahagis hagis lang ang mga bagahe. Kaya iwas check-in na din ako as much as possible.

  14. Taray nga mga PA eh panget pa customer service. Tuwing nag pafly via pal parents ko laging may nawawala. Pati toothpaste at shampoo di pinalampas😂😂😂. Buti pa korean air mas accommodating sila. Hassle lang talaga stop over

  16. Nangyari na rin sa amin yan. Pero binayaran ng KLM Airlines Kung magkano amount ng 3 luggage namin. Depende din siguro sa airline.

  17. Nangyari ito sa akin but ibang airline nga lang no more keme keme sila they got Me a new luggage and kinuha nila yung damage ko na bagahe. And Yes, rimowa din ang palit. Pumunta din ako sa rimowa . La lang share ko lang.

  18. Rimowa din maleta ko almost 6 years na sa akin Or more pero hinde ko pa ito na encounter nayupi maleta. Gulong lang nawala sa akin I was in abroad .. Immediately Went to the nearest rimowa inayos Nila agad at pinalitan at no cost since nasa under warranty pa ako that time. What I like about rimowa is their Service kahit nasa abroad ka maayos nila problema ng maleta mo as long as dala mo warranty

  20. Ilang beses ko naranasan na sa Manila bound Lang nasisira ang Rimowa luggage. Protip sa NAIA, wag ilagay ang Fragile sticker, Mas napagtitripan. 100% nangyari sakin na kapag may fragile sticker ang luggage ko dun PA nasisira. It's not about whether or not matibay ang maleta, Yung luggage handling talaga sa NAIA ang may problem. Parang may inggit ang paghahandle NG mga bagahe, sinasadyang ibalibag.

    Ang customer pa magpakumbaba at parang utang na loob na sumakay sa PAL

  25. International flight ba sila? Feeling ko baka pwedeng hindi kasalanan ng airline yan. Hindi naman parating Filipino crew ang tagalagay ng luggages sa eroplano esp if international.

    If you have watched bad behaviors of personnel handling luggages maiinis ka talaga.

    Mas maganda pa gumamit ng mga old style na luggage kesa yung bakal or plastic kasi malakinang chance na masira or mayupi dahil sa handling sa mga luggages.

  27. Same ng nangyari samin last Friday. Galing kami Japan. To think na connecting flight kami from Narita to Kansai, twice naisakay sa eroplano ung baggage namin doon, walang ni isang gasgas. Pagdating dito sa Pilipinas, basag yung belt at yung harap ng maleta namin. Hinayaan na lang namin kasi di naman Rimowa yung maleta namin at di kamahalan saka baka mahassle pa kami at lalong maistress. Nakakairita mga tao dito sobrang barubal magtrabaho. Kaya di tayo umaasenso. Haay.

    1. Tama ka. Nakaka frustrate ang mga pinoy. Yun bang may kasamang inggit ata at pagdadabog ang pag handle nila ng luggages? Nag chi-chismisan pa yung iba sa check in area. What’s even funny pa is that nakalusot ako sa security na may dalang juice sa handbag ko. Pero nong sa NAIA na at babyahe na ko sa province, pilit kinukuha yung lemon drink ko . It’s either that or inumin ko na agad. I was confused kasi sa ibang bansa nga nakakalusot ako.

  28. Go to Rimowa Boutique. They will just replace it. No questions asked. Done this more than 5 times na. Its a waste of time to argue with airlines. Compensation is not even gonna be worth it.

Nung Bumili lang ako ng cheapipay luggage sa divisoria worth 1k. first time ko ginamit when I went to singapore, Ayun, Paglabas ng baggage conveyor, Putol na ang handle, basag basag and wala na isang gulong. Binayaran naman ng airline ng 1k din.. funny lang talaga. di na ko umulit. sa mall na ko bumili nung next luggage ko. so far, naka 2 travel abroads na ko buo padin naman. haha

  30. Been with different airlines, with PAL i had the worse experience. Not only that they overcharge on excess weight, they only have two restrooms for almost 300 passengers in a 4 hour flight to japan. It is rediculous, having the Philippines name on this airline with bad service :(

    2. Worse case scenario na you need to go #2 tapos ang haba pa ng pila. Also paano ang mga bata at matatanda who can no longer hold their pee. Naisip ba nila yun? Nakita ko rin sa Japan how they handle the luggages, extra careful sila.

  33. Mapa rimowa man o hinde maleta mo. Magagasgasan talaga siya at given yun. Pero yung obvious na sisirain mo ang maleta mo at you don’t handle it with care ibang usapan na yun. Pag may damage no more question ASk palitan ng PAL dapat yan!

  34. my luggage is only Kamiliant pero may luggage cover nakasakay na sa Thai airways, SG airline, ANA, CAthay at Emirates walang gasgas choose the best airline.

  37. if you are a frequent traveler you know that luggages will be handled in different degrees unless you ask the ground staff upon check in that its tagged as "fragile" but sometimes even its tagged as fragile things like this still happen. If you are not ready to have your expensive luggage which promise to withstand the test of durability to handle all the manual or automatic processes done in the airport. Don't use it. No point to baby it and ask PAL for compensation.FYI you Luggage has international warranty use it!! It is there for a reason and stop using your stint as a celebrity to have an "etitlement" for replacement or compensation!!
