    1. Meron kaya!

      Delete
    2. Did you watch that segment? Noli was so hopeful like most of us that Efron Bata Reyes would get the gold. Nolin was not belittling Reyes nor the bronze. Mali ang perception niyo.

      Delete
    3. Wala naman talagang ginagawa ang VP,no. Buti nga yan hindi ambisyoso, eh.

      Delete

      Delete
    5. He said it because of high expectations, my husband also couldn't believe na bronze ang nakuha ni efren. Efren is a legend for most of us, naging disrespectful because Noli didn't know na hindi pa nacut for ads ang sinabi nya.

    6. 2:27 baks!! Lupit mo!!! Hahaha

    7. Kala mo lang yun 2:11.

    8. 1:58 as a comm arts grad, ilearned na dapat magbibigay ng opinion ang mga newscaster esp when they are delivering news like sa TV Patrol. Kahit yung pag iling iling nila is a no no.

      Delete
  2. Nag-expect siguro sya ng gold. I believe he doesn’t mean anything bad about it.

    1. Si Noli ang magpapabagsak sa estasyon nya. Ewan ko ba, dami nang ugly remarks nyan in the past, bakit kinuha pa ulet. Ang pangit naman magreport.

      Delete
    2. Tingin ko dn..hindi lang sya makapaniwala bec that was Efren. Nagulat lang siguro

      Delete
    3. Newscasters should always know how to handle things and be neutral in front of camera, 1:25. Khit disappointed sya s award ni efren

      Delete
    4. True parang nagtaka nga siya, hindi nagmamaliit.

      Delete
    5. 2.01 it's just a plain disappointment. Wow! Ang drama mo!

      Delete

      Delete
    7. Hindi ako supporter nitong si Noli but true naman yung tone nya ay parang to confirm kung bronze lang he sounds like hindi sya makapaniwala at nag eexpect sya ng gold kasi nga magaling si Efren. Susmiyo people.

      Delete
    8. Anon 2:01, being opinionated was what endeared Noli to the viewers.

      Delete
    9. 8:42 there was never anything endearing about Noli. He is gullible and impressionable, that's why he was the perfect puppet as a VP

      Delete
  3. Whichever way you look at it, it was unprofessional.

    1. Yes, VERY. Yan ang problema sa mga news anchor ng TVPatrol, masyadong opinionated, kala mo sila palagi tama, will often give snide remarks, or try to joke and be funny. Naalala ko sila Harry Gasser (RIP) and Cathy Santillan sa NewsWatch ch. 9 dati, they just deliver the straight news, very professional. Wala nang commentary. Commentaries are for a different show dapat.

      Delete
    2. And rude. Whatever his personal expectations, it was still disrespectful to d abilities of Reyes

      Delete
  4. Sa tone, he seemed surprised na bronze nakuha. Yung iba naman masyadong binigyan ng meaning

    ReplyDelete

    1. Un din ang tingin ko, he is expecting more kc siguro malaki ang tiwala nyang mag go gold, parang di nmn nanlalait ung tono more of nagulat nga, masyado nmn nila binigyan ng malisya ung reaction ni de castro, malas lang nya na nahagip ng camera ung pagtatanong nya, people these days juskooo...

      Delete
    2. Correct.Iba yung nang mamaliit, yung reaction niya more on nagulat at nagtaka.

      Delete

      Delete
    4. I dont think so, iba ang dating sakin nung BRONZE LANG nya.. Yung tunog is minamaliit nya si Efren

      Delete
    5. Finally, someone said it. Mga people kasi magaling mag judge at balat sibuyas

      Delete

      Delete
    7. TAMA OA YUNG MGA IBANG REACTIONS FOR ME SA NAKIKITA KO SA REACTION NYA NAGULAT SYA BAKIT BRONZE LANG KASI SI EFREN YUN EH MATAAS EXPECTATION SA KANYA KAYA GANON..IF AKO SI EFREN COMPLIMENT PARA SAKIN YUN NA NAGTAKA SI NOLI OR YUNG MGA IBA PA BAT "BRONZE LANG SYA" #LIVINGLEGENDKASINGBILLIARDS

      Delete
  5. Baka malaki pusta niya kay efren for the gold medal tapos natalo kaya medyo salty sya.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  7. He is supposed to be a seasoned newscaster. Blurting out comments like that is inappropriate. You're getting on, Noli, maybe it's time to leave.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. He didn't mean it that way.

      Delete
    2. 1:59 that's not d point. Dapat neutral sila, walang mga side comments pa

      Delete
    3. 1:59 kahit na!

      Delete
    4. Not only newscaster. Former Senator and VP of Philippines

      Delete
    5. 11:55 na walang kwenta, walang ever ginawa kaya back to newscaster na lng sya

      Delete
    6. Meh, he was just staying the fact. Nothing wrong with that.

      Delete
  8. Maybe Noli de Castro didn’t meant it in a bad way. They need to stop with that UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR.

    CONGRATULATIONS EFREN “BATA” REYES!!!!
You started as the youngest champion in your field, you have vanquished many other champions from all over the world, in all the years you have carried the National Flag. The fact that at retirement age, you still do your sport, exceed the younger competitors is in itself a mark of a true ambassador of the sport, the color of the hardware no longer matters.

THANK YOU BATA!!! NOBODY—NOT EVEN A NEWSREADER WHO WAS A FORMER VICE PRESIDENT OF THE COUNTRY—CAN TOUCH THE HONOR AND LEGACY YOU HAVE BROUGHT TO THE SPORT OF BILLIARDS. MARAMING SALAMAT! 🇵🇭

    1. You hit the nail right on the head with your comment.

  9. Isip bago hanash in National television at wag si Bata because he is all aware of his chances. Kahit pa ba nanghihinayang sya kaya nya nasabi eh pangit pa din. Bata is well loved all hats off to him despite of his injury at age he did it for our countrY!! MAHIYA KA NOLI

    ReplyDelete
  10. Pa-woke nanaman masyado mga Pinoy! I don’t think it was blurted out in a negative way.

    ReplyDelete

Chill guys.. I don't think he means it in a negative way.

      Delete
    2. The moment Noli said "lang" to Efren's award, already screaming negative way since Noli express his disappointment to Efren's effort

      Delete
    3. 2.00 what is the "negative"in expressing disappointment????

      Delete
    4. For me, parang nong studyante ka lang. Kung offended si Efren, then let’s show moral support for him instead.

      Delete
    5. 2:12 hello 65 yrs old yun tao bat ila LANG ni Nori, he should be responsible for his comments btw in national television ginawa yun no!! Kaya pwede ma offend ang mga tao kc Bata did it for the country

      Delete
    6. true, isa na namang case to ng mga pa-woke dian. kung nanood talaga sila bago makibandwagon, parang nag-expect kasi si noli ng gold, which means mataas ang tingin nia kay mang efren.

      Delete
  11. Wala naman alam si Noli. Sa edad ni Mang Efren at naka bronze pa sya is a monumental testament to his being a billiards master.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Efren is not in his prime anymore, but he still wins bronze in an international event. Despite his age and injuries, he still placed. Shame on your tactless remark, Noli. You love belittling your interviewees.

    ReplyDelete
They're trying to be funny but they are not.

    ReplyDelete
Tsk tsk tsk tsk!

    ReplyDelete
  15. Susko lahat na lang talaga!

  16. There you go. See, pre-requisite talaga sa mga politicians dito ang lack of intelligence. Former VP yan ha. Kakahiya talaga. This country is hopeless.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Wala namang masama sa sinabi nya. Walang may gusto na runner up ka lang. always aim and achieve for top

  18. Naiiyak naman ako, Efren Bata Reyes didn't deserve that. He's a true master, competing at his age and winning a bronze medal, for his country. Whether Noli meant well or not, he should not be making comments like that. Bata Reyes deserves all our respect, bringing honor to our country, being a legend in his field all these years.

  19. Calm down so-called MILLENIALS. Like most of us, I think Kabayan was just surprised that Efren "Bata" Reyes did not bag the gold. He did not (nor anyone of us) belittle Mr.Efren Bata Reyes.

      Delete
    5. U guys are too "woke". Kahit rap song may issue kayo lol. How I wish the old times will come back-cool lang ang mga tao noon pero nagkakaisa parin. Btw I am 2:44. And lastly watch CNN, BBC, or any int'l newscasters, you'll see/get the same reaction or some even worse. U don't call that unprofessionalism. How dare u.

  24. Snowflakes, kalma! I’m sure goal nya din maachieve yung gold pero may mas magaling sa kanya that time. Ang tagal na niya sa larangan na yan to even feel offended or hurt.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Which doesn't make it right that a nobody newscaster aka ex-puppet VP makes side comments like that.

  25. I just feel bad para kay Efren if he hears this.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Well, he is right though. Gold is the only colour that matters. Silver and bronze really don’t count much for anything. That’s a fact.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Wow... paano yan Noli, from VP eh nagong newscaster lang.

    ReplyDelete
  30. He just expected a lot. He got surprised. Ako din nagulat that he only got bronze medal. I know he didn't mean anything bad or belittle Efren. Wala ng kailangan patunayan si Efren so people stop commenting as if he needed validation from other people.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Which is why Noli should've just shut up or even better, said something complimentary coz Efren already has a winner's track record.

    ReplyDelete
  32. F noli was surprised, y wud he b surprised f bata got a bronze?

    ReplyDelete
  34. The way he said it parang nagtaka sya na bakit bronze lang.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Ang dami affected and sensitive.. Jusko, he was shocked sa tone ng voice. OA NYO

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  39. Noli has mastered the art na biased short comments right before it moves to the next segment. That makes it so unprofessional but I think he always does it coz he always got away w it.

    ReplyDelete
If you truly care about the Philippines and the Filipinos

  42. Regardless kung ano intention nya, he should’ve not made such remarks. Efren Bata Reyes deserves all the respect for bringing honor into this country. Also, he’s a very humble man. He’s endearing to everyone. Walang ka ere ere. A rarity nowadays. Kaya nakakainis yung mga ganyang comment.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Yall just looking for reasons to be offended. Petty lang. Si bata nga wala lang eh

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  51. If you listen to the video for context, parang he's just shocked that Efren didn't get gold kasi Noli was sure he would grab it kasi ang galing niya. That said, Noli should've watched what he was saying kasi it'll be so easily misconstrued, especially on national television. From a veteran news anchor he should've known better.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Wala namang masama sa pagkakasabi nya, it's like tinanong nya kasi he was rooting for Sir Efren.

    ReplyDelete

  54. He expected too much kaya di xa makpaniwala na bronze lang. hurt na nmn ang most offended generation. You need to calm down.

  55. I think it's more of disbelief na naka bronze lang si Efren when many are expecting to win Gold. Nagtataka sya at hindi nanglalait eh

    ReplyDelete
  56. Well it’s true. Nobody cares about silver or bronze anyway.
