Although he has been in the entertainment industry for a significant time, he still has yet to command respect from people outside of the field. Apparently, the said actor has gained a reputation as the Freebie Guy (FG).
FG went via the hard route to reach his place. Patiently, he tried his luck in auditions given that he did not belong to any showbiz family. He was never rumored to be very close to any powerful network executive. He pursued his dream and other goals outside of his career.
With fame came the endorsements. Any talent would consider having an endorsement a reward, as this offer means being recognized for the positive reputation exuded by the talent. While that is indeed good, some parties FG had worked with noticed that he would take advantage. When FG needs sponsorship, he requests certain companies. Even if a company can only give as much, confidently, he would allegedly ask for the full deal. This attitude of wanting everything free has turned off businesses that might consider him as an endorser.
Despite his body of work, FG is still not in the ranks of A-listers even if his management team has been giving him quality projects. Reality says FG does not have as much appeal as the A-listers. Yet, he still has the gall to ask for freebies.
‘The dream is to have it all. Who says you can't have your cake and eat it too? Live this life, that life, this life, you know? You only live one time - I want to get it all in.’ — Paul Walker
