Prior to the shooting of a project, Media Actor (MA) submitted a list of requests for the production team. First, MA wanted his own tent with his own portalet if they will be on location. Second, MA will only have his makeup done by his own makeup artist, whom he will bring. Third, his diet must be followed and only fish and vegetables should be served. The list raised eyebrows when the team looked into each item. One head could not help comment that MA was more demanding than his co-star.
Nonetheless, MA said that his request has always been consistent except for the addition of the mandatory swab test. In addition to the said items, MA requested for bodyguards in case they have to do a crowd scene. However, given the pandemic and strict shooting protocols, crowds will definitely not be around. The head said the requests will have to be cleared by upper management. Even if the production knew they might have a problem with the portalet, they will find a way to make MA feel at ease during the project.
The buzz among the staff is that MA’s list is as good as his last project. Depending on the performance of his project, the list can be adjusted. The production will consider his list as a small matter if his project is successful, but will put its foot down if his project shows dismal performance.

Snitch and Consequence

During a party after the end of their lockdown for a project, Cast Member 1, 2, and 3 (CM1, CM2, and CM3) along with the production staff played a round of Truth or Consequence. As alcohol and food overflowed, the talents loosened up and the intriguing questions started.
Predictably, the questions focused on sexuality. CM1 was asked if he was turned on at any time during his intimate scenes. CM1 said he was not. The partygoers did not accept his answer and he was given a consequence. He was told to kiss CM2 on the lips. As CM1 was game, he obeyed the instruction. Meanwhile, CM3 was drinking at a corner, observing what was happening.
Soon, almost everyone retreated to their rooms. CM1, CM2, and CM3 and a few others stayed on and continued drinking. From out of the blue, CM3 kissed CM2 on the lips. The actions stunned the onlookers, who laughed after a few seconds. CM2 was shocked and asked CM3 why he did that. CM3 said he did it for fun, like CM1. Teasing started and CM3 was kidded into admitting he had a thing for CM2. CM3 replied he kissed without malice and he just really wanted to try to kiss a boy.
Drunk and all, CM2 took the response as an insult. He did not want to be known as someone who will entertain fellow males beyond the roles assigned to him in projects. CM2 felt he was taken advantage during the stunt of CM3.
Come morning, the effects of alcohol waned. CM3 immediately apologized to CM2. CM2 accepted the apology. CM2 and CM3 were okay and placed the incident behind them. However, CM1 was not fine with the incident. CM1 told a Production Head (PH). PH called and reprimanded CM3 for his antics. PH said that if what he did reached the media, his being groomed to be a leading man and partnered with a female talent might be affected.
CM3 subsequently confronted CM1 and questioned why he had to snitch despite everything was already resolved. CM3’s handler got into the picture later and said a piece to the talent. As a result, CM3 will miss out related events for the project.

As most production outfits have resumed work, lockdown shoots add pressure to the set. The team, from production staff to actors, has to stay in a particular area for a specific period, which lasts for weeks. Thus, one is separated from family, friends, and home. This separation can cause anxiety given that one’s freedom of movement is constrained.
Unfortunately, Network Talent (NT) had to endure pressure not only from being away from home, but from working with seasoned actors. Given that NT is still polishing her talent, nervousness when doing a scene with a known actor can take over. The production team was initially understanding when NT needed more than one take for heavy scenes. The older talents supported NT and even the acting team helped. Sadly, they all reached the limit. NT kept buckling lines, which caused delays in shooting. The delays lessened the rest and preparation hours of the team.
Talented Actress (TA) was unable to control her emotions when her scenes with NT were taking too much time. TA noticed that NT was underperforming. Subsequently, TA had an outburst at NT for not reaching the needed acting level. Allegedly, TA walked out after due to her frustration. Things did not stop there, as TA vented her ire in an online group. Apparently, TA pointed out that NT should have taken acting lessons before the shooting and other talents are far more deserving of NT’s role.
The following day, NT apologized to TA and said that she had family matters that she could not stop to think of. However, her troubles should not be an excuse for bad performance. NT hoped TA would understand her situation. TA accepted the apology. The flare-up was, nonetheless, a wakeup call for NT to do better.

Many incidents happened during the pandemic and stories have a way of creeping without warning. According to the grapevine, Celebrity 1 (C1) and Celebrity 2 (C2) broke up while everyone was in the midst of addressing the pandemic. Jobs were jeopardized and restrictions affected people emotionally and financially. C2 became unsure if their future would happen and thus, there was no point in continuing the relationship. C1 left but could not return to her home due to covid lockdown and travel limitations. C1 opted to stay with a friend. The first month of not seeing C2 was tough for C1, but she had to keep herself together.
The complications of their relationship heightened with various angles of the stories that enveloped their relationship. For example, a friend decided to do a favor for C2 by keeping a secret from C1. C2 feared C1 might discover the surprise and thus, the friend was asked to step in. However, C1 found out and insisted on seeing it. The friend refused by giving the excuse that more hurt might be felt. C1 further learned C2 wanted to sell it. The insistence of C1 and the versions of the incident placed the friend in hot water.
When things changed for the better, ill-feelings were suddenly directed at the friend. Despite the prevailing angry mood, the friend still had the supposed secret for a while, but wanted to give it back. Worse, alleged agreements concerning the discovered secret prior to the dilemma were dropped. C1 and C2 placed their friend in bad light while they moved on with their lives as if they were right all along.
