When Successful Celebrity (SC) was a mere nobody, she did not allow her limitation to stop her from working towards her goal. Like all newbies who rely only on talent, looks, and persistence, SC did not have any powerful backer who could speed up her rise in the entertainment industry. However, she had a Helpful Ally (HA) behind her. HA would send part of her earnings as show of support for SC then.

HA was the only one among the people who should have understood SC’s dreams and help her. SC could have relied on Influential Person (IP), but she did not bother at all. Instead, she encouraged SC to go abroad and marry a foreigner who could provide a good life. SC thumbed down the suggestion, as she was too bent on having a career.

Years later, misses, and plusses, SC had achieved her dreams. As she was surely rising, IP started to change her attitude and became sweet towards SC. SC did not forget HA and this time, HA was at the receiving end of generosity. Times changed, and SC had to review her finances and recuperate from expenses. Sadly, she had to cut the support for HA but continued assisting IP. SC said that HA has work anyway. HA resented the decision, as SC favored the one who was not there when she needed the most help.

Adding to the resentment is that IP influenced SC not to invite HA to any gathering. IP did not want HA to steal attention from her. Such detail resulted in an unforeseen effect that HA had to rectify. This time, HA had to ask SC for compensation, which fell on deaf ears. When SC found out the subsequent actions of HA, she backtracked to keep the latter quiet. Thus, things are supposedly being worked out among the players of this story.

Truth hurts. Confident Celebrity (CC) has always been excited to return to work and with eased restrictions, she even volunteered to start. However, CC was told then that things were still being worked out. Waiting will not hurt, and CC was confident that she would once again go on cam.

One day, CC saw that Female Talent (FT) was welcomed to a program. CC called Production Head (PH) and asked why FT was already on cam and if she was an addition to the team or a filler for someone. With all the transferring going on, CC’s question was valid. However, PH could not answer her query.

CC called and aired her concern to Top Head (TH). TH said that their movement was still not a 100% and assured CC she will be given a call once the system is fine-tuned. The next day, the promo material was released and CC was shocked to see everyone and FT on it. She was not.

Mustering all guts, CC called and asked TH what happened and why she was out of the picture. CC reminded TH that she was eager to work with them. TH broke his silence and said that management had the prerogative on the matter. The management’s priority was to give work to talents who expressed and showed support and loyalty when needed, and not to talents who opted to be silent or side with the group that worked against them.

Young Influential Celebrity (IC) always had an eye for Attractive Actress (AA). At that time, AA was a nobody, but that did not matter to IC. However, before IC could make his move, AA was already committed to Patient Boyfriend (PB). IC could only admire AA from afar since then.

The time came when AA and PB broke off their relationship due to career priorities. IC had his chance finally. When IC made his intentions clear for AA, he was disappointed. AA bluntly told him that he was not her type and added she wanted to give full attention to her career. Her schedule was too full to entertain any one. Even PB was erased from her life.

Things changed when the pandemic hit. All work stopped and AA was not spared. Her calendar became empty and with that, opportunities for a lucrative future became unclear. By contrast, IC found himself faced with responsibilities and lots of work.

AA had to take chances and contacted IC to see if he could assist her. IC told AA directly that he could be of help but the price is high. For a couple of days, AA and IC stayed at a resort and he probably got what he wanted.

Without letting her known, IC talked to a production leader for a possible project for AA. Subsequently, AA was called for a project and she knew IC kept his promise. AA realized the influence IC could have on her career and told him he could continue his courting her. Tables were turned. IC said he was happy with his Current Partner (CP). Besides, their deal was only good for one project. Still, AA insisted that if IC decides to leave CP, she’ll be available.

Rheumatologist Ging Zamora Engaged to Cardiologist Lauro “Sonny” Abrahan IV

Amidst the turmoil of the pandemic, noted internist and rheumatologist, Dr. Geraldine ‘Ging’ Zamora got engaged to cardiologist, Dr. Lauro ‘Sonny’ Abrahan IV last August 2020. Friends are saying that the cardiologist fixed the broken heart of Dr. Ging.

Dr. Ging and Dr. Sonny are both graduates of the University of the Philippines and have impressive track records in their careers. Dr. Ging belongs to the small number of rheumatologists in the country. In 2016, she was a TOYM awardee for her contributions in medicine.

Dr. Sonny comes from a family of well-known doctors. His mother is Dr. Mary Anne Lim-Abrahan, a well-respected endocrinologist. His late father is Dr. Lauro Abrahan Jr., who was among the first trauma orthopedic surgeons in the country.

The production team noticed the powerful energy Network Personality (NP) projected during taping. NP seemed to be on a high, like he was in love. The production team waited for a surprise that NP would do, such as, his source of inspiration dropping by on the set. However, no one came, but the curiosity prevailed.

To answer the question, Careful Staff (CS) was tasked to see what NP has been up to. One time, NP’s phone received a text, but he could not attend to it, as he was on cam. CS glanced at the notification and saw a sweet greeting and a heart emoji. The name seemed to be a social media handle. When NP was on break, his phone rang. CS overheard NP comforting the caller, promising financial help, and visiting after work.

Later, CS followed NP after work. NP entered a building that was familiar to CS. The building was where the staff brings the scripts Fellow Talent (FT) needs for taping. Thus, the circumstance verified that NP was seeing FT. Besides, CS checked the social media handle and it belonged to FT.

CS reported to His Boss (HB) the investigation results. HB told CS to remain quiet and not to reveal to anyone what he found out. HB wants to be sure CS clearly read the sweet love message before reporting anything to management. What was puzzling was that FT is known to have a girlfriend.

What goes around, comes around is the lesson that seems to be hitting Female Celebrity (FC) these days. Sometime ago, FC sought the assistance of Close Pal (CP) for a possible gig. FC is well aware that fans value visibility and the reach of social media is still insufficient.

CP worked his wonders and went directly to top management. In his eagerness, he bypassed the team in charge of his need. FC promised CP all the support he needs in case he decides to shift careers. In addition, FC offered to have a cut on her usual fees as long as exposure will be given.

Finally, the deal was set and the date was scheduled. However, problems started to come up. CP has his own top management to deal with and the bosses did not want FC to have anything to do with CP’s show. Thus, CP is still working out this part of his favor to FC. The management remains firm on getting back at the insults FC subtly hurled at them before.

Meanwhile, another problem arose when the team bypassed by CP started receiving feedback from clients hating the idea of FC getting involved in the company. Messages mostly threatened to stop patronizing the company once FC goes onboard.
