THE BUREAU of Immigration said on Saturday an investigation into Japanese actress Maria Ozawa’s complaint that her photos and passport were posted on Facebook by a BI employee showed this was not the case.
The BI said its records showed “Armee Camzon,” the supposed uploader of Ozawa’s photos, was not one of its 2,000 employees.
“Per records, the alleged Facebook user name Armee Camzon is not an employee of the bureau and could be a poseur,” the agency said.
The BI said it had not ended its investigation, as it stressed the incident was “isolated and the right to privacy of the BI’s clients is our paramount concern.”
A BI source said an outsider acting as a fixer or travel agent might have been responsible for uploading Ozawa’s photographs without authorization.
“It could be the handiwork of fixers working in the guise of travel agencies accredited to help foreigners and other clients,” said the source, who declined to be named for lack of authority to speak on the matter.
The source added that anyone could claim on social media that he or she was an employee of the BI.
The 30-year-old Japanese actress complained on social media upon discovering earlier this week that her passport and ID photos were going viral on the internet. A certain “Armee Camzon” who claimed to be an employee of the BI posted the photographs.
Camzon’s account has since been deleted but the photos of the popular Japanese actress went viral after Ozawa complained on Facebook. She said her right to privacy had been violated.
Ozawa is a former adult video actress who went by the name Miyabi, which gained for her a huge fan base in Japan and abroad. She has since appeared in a local movie and now runs a hotel bar near Manila’s international airport.

Kim Chiu has denied that she will soon reunite with her former boyfriend, actor Gerald Anderson, for a television project.
Speaking to reporters after receiving her EdukCircle Award on Saturday, Chiu said she has no idea where the rumors are coming from.
“Hindi ko nga po alam kung saan galing ‘yon eh. Kung sinu-sino na lang po, bina-bash na lang ako. Pero wala pa pong ganun,” she said.
Meanwhile, Chiu also denied that she is already a mainstay on “It’s Showtime.”
“Natutuwa din ako mag-'Showtime.' Hindi naman ako [mainstay] doon. Pang dagdag lang habang wala pa 'yung totoong host talaga. Natutuwa naman ako,” she said.
Chiu said she loves hosting the noontime program since she can show her bubbly side.
“Walang script so sorry medyo tatanga-tanga din minsan. Pero natatawa naman sila. Sabi ko my gosh napaghahalataan 'yung totoong IQ ko. Wala namang taong perfect. At least napapatawa ko sila, napapasaya ko sila,” she said.
Does she want to be part of it permanently?
“Siyempre oo pero gusto ko talaga umarte. Number one talaga 'yung acting, second 'yung hosting, dancing tapos last 'yung singing,” she said.

Karma Really Comes Fast
In an event, a company decided to reward its employees with a show that featured several big names in the field. Initially, the company invited Wholesome Actor (WA), Charming Performer (CP), and Prized Personality (PP). At the last minute, WA backed out to attend to an urgent matter. Hence, CP and PP were left to grace the occasion.
During the briefing, the production team informed the camp of CP and PP of their order of appearance. The original plan was for PP to appear first and for CP to be the finale. While the plan looked fine, the handler of PP made a fuss and demanded that PP should be the finale. After all, PP is the bigger star and obviously, was going to be popular with the audience. As the issue was not really a big deal for the camp of CP, the handler did not bother to argue. Thus, the finale would now be PP and CP would perform ahead. As for CP and PP, the order was not a problem, as their goal was to provide entertainment to the event.
As CP was called to perform, the usual reaction occurred. The audience was excited and CP knew how to play the crowd. A smile here and there, a wave, and of course, his numbers were much appreciated. When his number was done, CP stepped off the stage for the next number. Captivated by CP, people left their chairs to catch the performer for photo op. CP has always been known to be accommodating, and thus, people looked for him.
When PP stepped onstage, the audience was focused on CP and posing with him for photos. Attention was divided that PP had to exert more effort to let the audience know that she was already on stage. Noise of excitement reverberated, which was observed to have resulted from the CP-effect. People who knew of the insistence of the camp of PP to rearrange the order of performance could not help but think of karma.
