    2. So Widodo is also ignorant?

    3. Wow ha. Kahit ako di sang-ayon kay Joey. But calling him ignorant is uncalled for.

    4. Anon 135 to compare a medicine that goes inside your body to a f*ck*ng bag? It's just a stupid stupid analogy. We have different physiological needs. Ever heard of people who are "hiyang" to certain medicines? And some who react to it negatively like allergic reaction?

    5. @ jan 14 1:32am. Lol widodos case isn’t similar with ours, ang layoool! You read theor news if you want baka mapahiya ka.

    6. 1:35, pwede naman kasi ignorant sa ganyang usapin which is obvious. He should know better that it’s not about the brand.

    7. Nko 1:16 AM. Pinag sasabi mo? sumisigaw ng pagka ignorante oh. Ang murang gamot or generic brands have exact same compound kesa branded na iniinom mo. Ang pinag kaiba nyan ay, ang manufacturers ng murang brand na drugs are not paying for patent fees, hindi sila ang nag develop, walang trials or lab-tested, isa pang malaking factor is marketing the drugs and that's why it's cheaper to manufacture. Mas mura ang generic brands than their brand-name counterparts. Pero same dosage, efficacy, quality and safety lang. May 11 na uri or it falls under category ang gamot ng highblood, kaya madami kang naririnig kasi maraming categories ang antihypertensive drugs at brand and manufactures yan at iba iba minsan ang name bawat country te pero parehas lang yan lahat. LUH. Bakit ano ba "hiyang" sayu? haha Losartan noh? or baka nman Norvasc? or baka nman Metoprolol? Mag SAMBONG ka nalang te!

    8. 1:35 He's not that brilliant, apparently...

    11. Sinovac is only 680/dose sa Indonesia bakit dito sa Pilipinas 3,600/dose?

      Delete
    12. @4:01 diba't si Galvez na mismo nagsabi that Du30 is pressuring him to give a green light para sa Sinovac?
      Crystal-clear why.

      Delete
    13. Anon 9:58 spare us the lecture. Makers are allowed to have twenty percent variation in its active ingredient from that original formula. How else do you explain the different reaction and efficacy to different people taking the same "drugs"?! Explain mo nga. I'm assuming none of us are doctors/scientists here so let's not get too technica.. The real issue here is don't tell me that I'm being choosy- nobody should dictate what I want to take for my own body. If I'm not comfortable taking something, don't tell me I'm being choosy. That's ignorant. Everyone should be given a chance to choose, to do their own research, talk to their doctors about side effects, efficacy and which medicine is more effective for the type of health condition you have.

      Delete
  2. di mo gets joey no! wala sa brand, nasa efficacy at sa presyo yon anebey!

    1. Right!

Anyway, you are still one of my favorite comedians and hosts

  4. Ang point ho manong joey is it’s super obvious na favored ang chinese vaccine even if there are cheaper and more effective options. Itong post niya is an indirect way of saying tumahimik na lang kayo at sumunod.

    4. 3:35, not true. Philippines were given the opportunity to procure. The government just ignored it.
Get your facts straight & stop spreading fake news.

    6. @3:35 AM, you are wrong, Israel is the first in the world to use mass vaccination, sa ngayon, more than 20 percent na sa total population dito sa Israel ang na inoculate, which is more than 2 million na and counting, and from this week on, nagismula narin ang pangalawang vaccine shots, about the brand of vaccines, Israel is using Pfizer and Moderna vaccine as for now. Also, mabilis at maaga ang gobyerno dito sa pag order ng mga vaccines, so according to Moderna, Israel is the first ever country to received it's vaccines. So, huwag magpakalat ng maling impormasyon, ok? Salamat!

  10. I dont want to be vaccinated with Sinovac but I find it odd that some of my friends who take essential oils with their tea is making a big fuss with a vaccine that’s FDA approved in other countries. The essential oils they are drinking are labeled as cosmetics and not for oral consumption by FDA. They could damage their internal organs pero sa vaccine ang daming arte.

    ReplyDelete

    1. This! Maylaysia and Singapore are backing out of their Sinovac purchase until further testing and data after Brazil found the 50.4% efficacy rate.

  14. Excuse me??? You SHOULD be choosy on what you put inside your body. Why insist on a vaccine na 50 -70% lang na maybe mapoprotektahan ka tapos you have to deal with the side effects pa. 30 to 50% chance na hindi effective against covid yung vaccine is a VERY big deal.

  28. 50-70% efficacy and Taiwan reporing 73 side effects of Sinovac. Di pa maging choosy?

    ReplyDelete
I will take my Pfizer or Moderna vaccine once available thankyouverymuch.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Agree, 7:49. Nakatiis at naka survive nga tayo isang taon halos, with only masks, hand santizers, and distant hopes of a vaccine. We can wait a bit more as long as we continue to take all necessary precautions. No way I'm taking any Chinese vaccine!

      Delete
  30. I have doubts on all vaccines at this point given the new virus strain. I believe none of the vaccines being administered and available in the market has been clinically tested for the new strain. So wala rin diba? Tama ba?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Yes, wala pa. Nung ininjeksyunan ako ng Sinopharm, I asked the opinion of the nurse and doctor kung anong best vaccine for them, sabi nila wala daw. Wala daw dahil nga may new variant na naman daw so basically yung mga vacinne na available as of now lahat sila ay ineffective dun sa new strain.

      Delete
  31. Makikisingit na nga po... Sabihin na natin na lahat yan kahit anong brand maging FDA approved for emergency use. May storage requirement yung iba. Correct me if i am wrong, sinovac and j&j vaccines wala.

With the infrastructure and transport system that the country has, sa tingin nyo aabot ng intact ang cold storage vaccines sa pinakaliblib na barangay sa pinas?

Big cities like metro manila, cebu, and davao pwede ka siguro makapili kasi may storage facility, madali by air, then refrigerated truck to warehouse.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Kahit Sinovac kelangan refrigerated storage at 2-8 degrees C, just like Astra and Moderna.

I don't think so.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Ang panget ng analogy nya. ang sabaw

    ReplyDelete
  36. Wrong analogy! Luxury brands like LV, Chanel etc cannot be compared to a vaccine! A vaccin is not for aesthetic purposes, and it has real impact on one's health. A vaccine has to have high chances of succeeding on what it's supposed to do. Suko na talaga ako sa mga elite members ng society na nagtatanga tangahan just to advance their own agenda and defend their own

    ReplyDelete
  37. No vaccines have been approved by FDA. FDA only granted EUA ir Emergency Use Authorization.

Mu husband is frontliner under govt kaya alam ko. Kaya mahirap makakuha slot for pfizer pg private sector, u have to wait for few months. So bakit hindi sinopharm ang choice for their govt employees? magdadalawang isip ka na din talaga mgpabakuna ng chinese vaccine.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. My husband is also a government employee and they got Sinopharm. The sheikh got sinopharm din. Pfizer is only for emergency use for 60s and up. I know coz I’m a frontliner living in the uae din

      Delete
    2. 11:45 I believe di mo naman need magwork sa govt sectors or be a front liner to know about this news po. And as far as I know, Sinopharm is the one given to most Emirates and front liner simce mas nauna syang na approved. Pfizer naman is only for people ages 60 and above, front liner and residents na may mga chronic disease. It's on news din po.

Lahat kakaturok palang. Pati kung isang taon or ilang taon pwedeng maprotektahan ang nabakunahan. Wala pa ang mga sagot dyan. Puro expectations palang. Take note of that.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies

So kung ang pfizer has 95% efficacy, it means, sa trials nila, 95%. Ang clinical trials may Phases. Phase 0, less than 15 people ang naturukan. Phase 1, about 10-80. Phase 2, about hundreds. Phase 3 up to 3000 people. Phase 4 more expanded trials. Each phases, kelangan ipasa nila before moving on sa next phase. So guess what, may data na back up ang Pfizer at Moderna and they passed these clinical trials for mass consumption. Duon nakabase ang efficacy. Kaya may data na bago iturok yan sayo. Next time, magbasa.

      Delete
    3. Sinovac did clinical trials sa south america, asia and middle east. sa uae, 86% efficacy, sa turkey 91.25%, sa brazil 50.4% because they included people with mild to severe covid cases. they are using the traditional viral vector - inactive virus which for me is safer than mrna technique of pfizer and moderna.

      Delete
    4. @6:20 Sinopharm po ang with 86% efficacy rate according to UAE. Both from China pero magkaiba po ang Sinovac and Sinopharm.

THE FDA OF THE PHILIPPINES WILL APPROVE EVERYTHING AS DUTERETE SAYS SO.

Yun din po yung vacinne na avaliable dito for locals and OFW. I don't think naman na may "fake" Sinopharm po kasi it was also injected to locals here UAE.

  50. Depende rin sa capacity ng Pinas. Mas stringent ang cold storage requirements for Moderna and Pfizer. additional gastos yun for the government. while itong Sinovac pwede na sa ref lang. mau pros and cons of course. pero I will get Pfizer vaccine for myself hahaha
