    2. Koreans are perfectionist and very competitive, it is difficult for them to take criticisms and based on their culture, suicide has been one case that’s Known to be a popular cause of death among them esp the very successful and powerful ones.

  3. I looked this up.. apparently she hasn't had acting gigs since 2014. Koreans seem to be very harsh towards anyone who doesn't follow their ideal image? But who knows what her reason was..very sad. Korea has one if the highest suicide rates, particularly among the elderly who have no one to care for them or opt to not be a burden to their families..

    1. That’s when she turned 30. Sexy actresses never turn out ok. They can’t handle the sudden drop past 30.

  4. Mahirap kasi sa Korea para kang commercial puppet talaga. Malala para kang produkto na kailangan perfect, hindi mo na Alam kung ano gagawin mo sa sobrang grabe ng standard of beauty ng industry Nila. Imagine the pressure na Lang.

    1. Are you saying that people like them because they commit suicide and not because of their music, movies, shows, and fashion?

    2. so true 2:25 i really dont get the hype around korean pop culture. ako na lang ata ang di na hu hook sa kanila halos lahat ng kakilala ko are into them. we’re creating a generation of superficial people because everything is about being physically ‘perfect’, i find it to be shallow.

    3. 2:25 every person have different personality and mindset, like you and i, so dont generalise, if korean A committed suicide, it doesn’t mean korean B will also do. so there’s nothing wrong adoring them.

    1. Korek! Kaya ang daming Koreans rin ang umaalis sa bansa nila. They have a very superficial and judgmental society.

That's why their KPop and KDrama distractions are a billion-dollar industry. Marami silang problema internally as a nation. They have the highest divorce and suicide rate in the world. Natalo na nila US at Japan.

  8. Speaking of suicide na alala ko tuloy yung Sky Castle kdrama. Grabe ang pressure ng mga magulang sa mga anak nila kasi grabe din ang pressure na bininihay ng society sa kanila. No wonder dami ngang suicide rate sa bansa nila. Too sad :(

  9. Tama kayo. Kahit sa kdrama pinapakita yung toxic tradition nila like senior and junior. You can't say "no" sa senior mo kahit di na tama and pag nag pakasal ang babae titira sya kasama yung family ni guy at gagawing ka katulong.
