      Delete
    2. May baho pa ba 12:20 kahit ang linis na??? I don't think so!

I'm more concerned of the no social distancing of people.

My gosh.

      Delete
Gone are those days. Yung iba nga pumunta eh gustong gusto mg maligo kaya lang bawal kasi hindi pa po tapos ang rehabilitation, i mean given how many decades of filth have been sitting there.. alin mas gusto mo ang dating Manila Bay o ngayon? Basura o dolomite?

      Delete
    5. parang ikaw ang halatang di nag-iisip. hahaha

    6. 12:30 don't worry isang bagyo Lang tapos yang dolomite na pinagmamalaki Nila. Tapos uulitin Nila Yan with another 300m pesos. Ang galing!

      Delete
    11. 1:06 dear, I wouldn't be so impressed if I were you. Tinabunan lang yung pampang. Manila Bay is still the same, yung mga maduduming tubig sa Maynila at basura jan pa rin napupunta. Ang kelangan solusyonan is yung root ng problem, which is disiplinahin ang mga tao na huwag kung saan saan magtapon ng basura.

      Delete
    12. 12:48, ah ganun pala yun, just like pag naglilinis ka ng mabaho mong banyo eh mabaho pa rin, k got it!

      Delete
    14. Isang part pa lang yan ng rehab. Madami pang ginagawa para maayos. Jusme makareklamo lang eh no?

      Delete

Use your kokote naman please. Magkaiba Yun dear. You didn't get it.

Kaya dumadami jan sa pinas sa sobrang praning nyo! Dito sa Europe tumataas din cases coz of hard headed people too! We cannot blame the government because they're doing their best pero still matitigas mga ulo, di nga nagsusuot ng mask dito pero life has to move on. Ikaw lang mismo sa sarili mo gumawa ng way to protect yourself and family! The government should not only focus to covid. Still have lots of problems that need to be done and solved. Goodluck pinas kase naka focus nalang kayu sa covid, geeee

    3. 5:49 The timing is off. See how people perceive this? The govt wasting money for a superficial project when we need the money for people who are out of jobs. for our health services kasi ninakaw na ang Philhealth contributions, and for our economy bec we are in recession. Instead, they don't clean up the bay but just cover it with white sand. Talk about priorities.

6:53 So you don't live here in the Phils. Live here and see how it feels to be locked down for 6 months without a clearcut govt plan. No aggressive contact tracing, late mass testing, lack of support for health workers, late lockdown which allowed people from other countries to enter and spread the virus. If you are not aware, the head of COVID taskforce is a general and not a health professional. That's why there is no clear plan. The health consultant resigned (or was forced to resign). And you have been brainwashed by this govt to believe that it’s the people’s fault. That’s how the govt work. If it fails, blame others. But we, who live here in the Phils, demand more from our public servants. And based on a study, the Filipinos who live in the Phils are one of the most compliant in following the safety rules (like wearing facemasks). So don’t go blaming Filipinos as to why we are in this utter mess.

Finally you saw that some money went into something visual like this and not straight into the pockets of the politicians you still complain. Havent you heard of the artifical moon in seoul? This is something to break the monotony of life in the midst of this pandemic to bring positivity and help ppl mentally. Do you know how a beautiful view can suddenly change someones mood, outlook or general perspective in life? This is suppose to bring hope and help ease distress but you still overthink and still use up your energy to spread negativity rather than enjoy the change you are seeing. Mabaho or not i would still prefer it that way than what it used to be. And why complain if it doesnt harm or hurt? You ask why priorotise that but you dont even try to understand the good things this brings the public, before you even enjoy it youve already thought of how it will be destroyed or how it cant be sustained. You people need to relax more.

  40. There’s a misconception on the amount. The 389M is for the whole rehabilitation project. The Dolomite sand part of project cost around 28M as per DENR. This is phase 1. They are using engineering interventions so the crushed Dolomite is not totally washed away.

Dolomite is given such a bad rap because people are being misinformed.

If you look at the MSDS, the crushed Dolomite is not hazardous to aquatic life. Mining and environmental engineers explained (one of whom is Engr. Arturo Manto) and I quote a portion and of his explanation that “Dolomites were previously under sea water. Because of intercontinental drift, where land masses called tectonic pushed against each other, some underwater lands and rocks are raised up to become mountains because of the opposing forces. That’s the reason why we find fossils of aquatic life in the mountains. The Dolomites of Alcoy, Cebu are an example of that phenomenon. Therefore, placing of Dolomites at the shorelines is basically returning it to the sea where it belong. This time, with a good purpose to beautify the coastline since it will be placed in fine or crushed forms which would be similar if not better than most beach sands made of silica (SiO2). Because of tidal action, the beach will regularly be wetted by the sea and with its undertow (the returning part of the wave), only the very fine particles will be washed back to the sea. This will then minimize dust creation. “

    1. Meh, it’s a total waste of our tax money. Clean up the water first by addressing the sewage, industrial waste and garbage problem going into the bay. What’s the point of a fake white beach when you are surrounded by toxic water. You are still prohibited from going in the water.
