In your entire life? Sorry if i sound rude but i didnt judge u since everyone has different situation.

    8. So agree with you!!!
      QUALITY!

    1. meron talaga niyan, dati may mga tinatawag na alternative class sa UP Diliman aside from your regular course to give students a break and to attend interessting discussions. Hindi po yan degree.

      Delete
    2. Agree. Most likely CMC course subject ito.

May University based and college based Alternative Classroom Learning Experience ang students per Sem. Hosted by Organizations. Which I am forever thankful for. I learned a lot from those, lalo na nung panahon na wala pa internet/Google. Haha.

      Delete
    2. hayaan mo sila, kung gusto nila yang Korean genre then they should attend this discussion. Its not for everybody.

      Delete
    3. 4:47 I think mga tiga UP ang pwedeng mag attend nyang Alternative Learning Session na yan.

  5. Ang Pinoys talaga. Never nagkaroon ng identity. Dati super Maka espana, tapos Maka America, ngayon Maka Korea. Asan identity natin momshie?

    1. 12:43 Pag may nagtatanong sa akin na foreigner on how I would describe the Filipino identity - eto this is what I personally feel ha - I say "We've been colonized by foreigners for so long and we tend to idolize them". Ako mismo confused.

    1. Agree. Based naman sa Class Code na nakalagay, under Broadcast Communication (BC) ito. So pasok sa banga naman. And elective naman siya so keri din.

      Delete
    2. Agree. Kita naman sa Course Number. 'BC', chances are CMC related siya. Relax guys, marami pang 'not common subjects' inooffer sa UPD. Ito lang napublish kay FP, kasi 'Korean' . Some PE subjects din hindi common.

      Delete
Its taking a break from the usual. Maganda yan, to make a person well rounded.

      Delete
    4. Agree with all of you guys. Minsan kasi yung mga "mababaw" na topic can really elicit a lot of discussions. There is so much to learn even from "mundane topics".

    5. If you are from the other courses halimbawa, You are from BS Physics then you want to attend this discussion on Koreanovelas etc. dahil aside from being a nerd, fan ka din naman ng mga Koreanovelas or for me, nag attend ako nung mga ganyan about Anime.

      Delete

  8. This is just a special topics class. Hindi yan degree or what. Basically, chill subject of your interest na pwede mong itake and earn units. Ang mema nung iba ah.

    1. Korek. Mema ung iba. Hahaha.

Nagmamaru.

      Delete
    4. parang interest groups yan. To give students a break from the usual subjects.

      Delete
    5. mag enrol muna sila sa UP bago kuda.

      Delete
    6. Given, true. Bagsak self esteem, understandable. Given, may point ung iba, pero tandaan this course subject will be handled in academical manner - - - technicalities,
theories, for sure may readings and paperwork as part of course work. hindi para magkwentuhan ng episodes at kiligin lang. registration is based on student's interest and not open to everyone.

Positive vibes lang, wag masyado nega agad. Pls people, do not be quick to judge to non-traditional course subject/never heard of course subjects

      Delete
    7. my gosh, hindi naman kasi ito open to the public, this is exclusively offered to UP students.

      Delete
    8. I remember my time in UP, maraming inooffer na ganyan. Parang may week na merong ganito.

      Delete
    9. In UP,there is academic freedom.Uso yang mga alternative learning class or seminars para maging well rounded ang estudyante.

  9. I am still waiting for their under water basket weaving and aerospace pottery making courses :)

  11. To 1:06, that’s what I used to say. Out of curiosity I watched Cloy and also because some friends who know how to appreciate quality movies have been recommending it. Kinain ko lahat ng sinabi ko. Only Lino Brocka movies can match Well made K dramas. Even supporting characters are so good. If you see them in a different role in another project you will not even recognize them. The attention to details are excellent. The subplots jibe with all other scenes. Now I am a fan.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies

    3. 1:59 well probably since ang tapang ng UP to offer this course

      Delete
  13. It's just an elective. Your choice as a student to take up or not. You'll probably watch and analyse the plot, the costume, the acting.

Don't feel offended. UP has unheard of subjects. Just check out the PEs offered, LOL. In Baguio they have the Philippine Games. You'd be playing patintero and agawang buko.

  14. So disappointing... We Filipinos are now reduced to being just ultimate HYPERS and PROMOTERS for other cultures to become famous. Recently, nakikita ko ginagamit narin tayo ng thailand to promote their own dramas...
I'm tired of Filipinos being nothing but clappers for this countries who look down on us...

  15. Nang dahil sa pandamic i got hooked watching kdramas and CLOY was the first ever kdrama i watched. Simple lang naman ang story niya but i think the big part of it's success was perfect ang casting ng kdrama na ito. Walang patapon, kahit supporting role lang they delivered well. Hindi man natin naiintindihan pero pag narinig na natin ang mga kanta one can't help but sing along with it. Perfect formula:Simple story + beautiful soundtrack + perfect casting.

    1. If you are a student majoring in film. This will give you a broader spectrum on things lalo na kung ikaw na ang maging direktor balang araw.

Kidding aside, CLOY is a very well-made/acted drama. I’ve always wondered what the fuss was about while it was showing. I watched after it ended. Tama nga lahat. One can’t help but compare sa local soaps na paikot-ikot and paulit-ulit lang stories. With korean dramas, they stick to 16-20 episodes and tight and plot.

  18. Korean dramas are so bad. They have rich/poor dynamics or hate/love interests why is why Filipinos love it so much.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Exactly! They're brainwashed for sure!

    2. If some Filipino viewers like it,its their problem.Same goes why Filipinos supported telenovelas years ago.
