  1. Ganun talaga. Life isn't fair. Death lang nagkakapantay pantay ang tao. The rest malaking disparity. Pero with this pandemic, people aren't going to spend cash on useless things or hobbies.

    1. this dhakal showed us the worst traits of pinoys - Nepotism (michael's case) and Crab Mentality (dhakal's).. nepotism, sa lahat ng sector or industriya ay pinapairal yan, wala kang magagawa dyan eh.. pero ang crab mentality.. you can control it but you don't want to, kc you are eaten by inggit, ng galit or selos.. you can't think straight/rationally kc puno ka ng imbot.. that's worst.

      Delete
    2. Di ko talaga kilala yang dhakal.

      Delete
    3. I watched Jason Dhakal's live video on YT. #SorryNotSorry pero walang dating. So I watched another video. Pero iisa lang ang tono nya. He sounded monotonous and sleepy. Instead of bashing fellow artists, whether rich kids or not, perhaps Jason should improve his craft.

  2. This is so true. Nepotism talaga dito sa Pilipinas ang pinapairal. dito my gosh kulang na lang gawing national artist for rap music yang batang Pacquiao. Lol

    2. 12:43 Hindi ako fan ni Michael Pacquiao nor am I a rap fan. Napanood ko yung YouTube video nya for a local radio station. He was rapping live. Ang linis ng pagra-rap nya, and may flow. Hindi autotune. May ibubuga naman.

      Delete

Ang totoong artist walang paki sa fame, basta maexpress nila ang gusto nila, very opposite sa Jason da who na ito.

  5. You can ask for recognition without bringing other artist down. Maybe those music artists youve mention are hesistant if theyll pursue it or not because they lack confidence and not talent. I dont even know you but I believe each one has their own taste for music. What may seem bad for you doesnt mean the same for others

    1. True. As an artist, he should know the meaning of the word respect.

  6. Mukha pa namang mabuting tao si Michael. Hindi mayabang at low key lang. Talented naman. He gives long hours to his music. Passion na iyon base sa interviews niya. Sumikat na un basher in fairness HAHAH hay nako magtulungan na lang kayo instead of putting each other down. A collaboration perhaps.

Kalurkey?!!!!

  10. but even somewhere else like Hollywood, ganyan ang case.
tbh, I don't see anything wrong with it kasi in the end, talent pa din ang magpapatagal sa mga yan. they may have instant success but longevity is the key. now, kung manalo na sila ng awards, yun ang problema

    1. True. Nepotism is everwhere. Unfair but anong magagawa natin. Lalo na sa Pinas ang daming gullible. 🤣

      Delete

      Delete
    3. 1:01 Anong hindi uso sa US? Miley Cyrus (ninang Cindy Lauper) - Billy Cyrus, Nancy Sinatra - Frank Sinatra, Will Smith - Willow and Jaden, Judy Garland - Liza Minelli, Cher -Georgia Holt, Enrique Iglesias - Julio Iglesias... Para lang talaga ma compare sa US no...

      Delete
Bigyan pa kita ng recent examples, Beyoncé and Solange, Miley and Noah Cyrus, o Ayan ha.

      Delete
    5. 1:41 uso means prevalent. Examples Lang binanggit mo. Mas marami namang sumikat on their own merit na walang kamag anak sa USA kaysa dito.

      Delete
    6. Just because you have a famous parent doesn’t mean you can’t aspire to be Successful and famous yourself in the same field. Is there an unfair advantage - yes. What can we do about that, since that’s the reality. In the end it’s still up to the public to accept and patronize who they relate to and appreciate and want to patronize.

      Delete

You cant just have a project just because anak ka ni ganito or inaanak ka ni ganyan. Dont compare our showbiz culture to them.

      Delete

    ReplyDelete

Kaso wala eh...

    1. True that! Pinakinggan ko both, mas maayos yung muaic ni Michael Pacquaio!

      Delete
  14. In my opinion its not Michael’s faukt that his parents are rich and famous. He wanted to be a singer/rapper so whats wrong with that. No matter how sikat their parents are if waley talent at waley appeal sa masa they wont last in the industry. Marami ng anak ng sikat ang sumubok and where are most of them now? I read pa somewhere that he was even turned down by the late Douglas Quijano. Even Gloc 9 who made a name for himself na hindi haling sa sikat na family said, music is for everybody anak ka man ng sikat or hindi.

  15. grabe daig yun iba dito sa judges sa the voice! D naman kasalanan nun bata, he works hard too. Do not discredit his effort kc anak lang sya ni manny. Hirap na talagang maging kind

  16. So stop then..nobody cares about you..we are free to showcase our godgiven talents priveledged or not..its not his fault that he was born priviledged..his father had himself beat up to have this life for his children..if you are so bitter..leave him alone..he is trying his best in something he knows well..what has he done to you?hence you should support a newbie artist like him..instead of being an a*s

    ReplyDelete

Is he saying to the privileged na huwag nilang i-take advantage ang opportunity na meron sila, eh nandyan na nga eh diba? You use whatever means you have, basta wag mang-apak ng tao. Discredited agad ang success kasi mayaman to start with. Sanay kasi tayo dito sa Pinas na dapat may sob story eh.

    ReplyDelete
  21. iba yung kalakaran pag dating sa music. It is an art form.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Sino si kuya Dhakal? If magaling ka at mag good attitude sisikat ka, yun lang yun. Bitterness will not bring you anywhere. Da who ka pa nga lang ang yabang mo na. Tsk!

    ReplyDelete
  23. Narinig ko na si MP magperform so out of curiosity I listened din to one performance of Jason but sorry para syang lasing kumanta. Mas magaling so MP, bias aside. Lakas maka puna nung Jason mediocre naman pala, sorry di ko lng maintindihan san nya kinuha guts nya feeling overly talented

    ReplyDelete
  24. not really a fan of rap. pero may talent rin naman si michael sa nakita ko. etong jason, never heard ko pa. kung magaling naman talaga, kahit di anak ng artista, mabibigyan ng pansin at pagkakataon. lalo ngayon, maraming platforms. you should learn to market yourself. kaya lang, kelangan mong pagisipan kung pano. yun ang advantage ng anak ng artista.

    ReplyDelete

The mere fact na Hindi ka sumikat kahit nageeffort ka pa Ng bongga only means na Hindi kaigaigaya Ang ipinapamalas mo..

    ReplyDelete

Trying to make it lighthearted pero sobrang bitter talaga. Yes life is unfair and im sure if u had famous parents, u would use them as well so wag kami. Instead of being bitter why not work harder or make better music coz that will make success inevitable diba?

    ReplyDelete
  33. Bitter si kuya. Dami rapper sumikat kahit nobody.

    ReplyDelete
  34. There are artists who managed to rise on their own. Kahit May sikat kang magulang, if you are not talented enough and nobody wants to listen to you, wala din. If Manny's son has talent, why deprive him of wanting to have a slice in the music scene? Talent and determination to continuously learn are the key to success. The industry is small so help each other na lang

    ReplyDelete
  35. Hmmm, Tama siya. Very little talent in pinas showbiz. It’s a joke.

    ReplyDelete

  38. ang daming inggit sa katawan. facts of life. accept reality. ganun talaga. who said life was fair? what you want and what you get are two entirely different things. swerte lang ni Michael. di nya kasalanan na pinanganak siya sa ganung circumstances. His father sacrificed a lot. he was dirt poor.... pero now that he can give his kids a good life sino tayo para magreklamo di ba? mamatay ka na lang sa inggit.

  44. paanong naging hadlang si michael kay jason? hindi naman, di ba? the people vote with their wallets and attention.

  47. Magpost rin si michael na i cancel mga good looking na individuals kasi mas marami silang opportunities. Hay naku grow up! Ganyan ang mundo. Work hard lang. Si Pia Wurtzbach nga di successful sa showbiz initially but she came back a queen!!!

  49. Fact of life - If ako walang connection or not related to someone known or influential even if I am talented I have to be OUTSTANDING to get the opportunities (contract, promotion etc.), if I am someone na have the right connections, related sa mga kilala ng tao and if I am talented enough, no need to be OUTSTANDING as long as more than average ang talent - opportunities are immediately there. So Jason has a point OPEN UP YOUR EYES kahit anong larangan ng career this is a FACT.

  52. agree. though not everytime naman. Pero in the case of Pacquiao, i doubt may papansin sa kanya if he doesn't have that surname

    ReplyDelete
  53. Honestly, if people like your songs and your way of singing, you'd get far. It goes both ways, whether you have connections or not. I know this Dhakal guy is proud of his music etc. but you can't lift your own chair. You can't blame others, whether they have connections or not, for being liked by people. We have a consumers market and people will support whatever they want or like to support. It just means he need to work harder on improving his songs until people start liking it and supporting it.

Kumakanta at tumutugtog sila with passion, nothing less. They continue to stay to their true sound kahit na mas maraming pera sa mainstream. Masaya na sila sa mga good reviews and occasional features sa mga magazines. They also have day jobs and businesses. Never sila nag reklamo unlike etong si Jason Dhakal.
