In fairness, if no cable ka or internet, nothing to watch sa local news and shows na wala ang ABS. Kahit sa news man lang, wala ang almost hourly updates sa news on tv.

As per Art. 2, Civil Code, as amended by E.O. 200, laws shall take effect after fifteen days following the completion of their publication in the Official Gazette, or in a newspaper of general circulation in the Philippines, unless it is otherwise provided. In RA 7252, effectivity is provided. It states there that the law is effective upon its approval. It was approved March 20, 1992
If you will check RA 10925, the law is specific: "SEC. 2. Effectivity.- This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation."
The law can be interpreted in so many ways. It's a trend. lol.
ABS should have asked for a TRO before the expiration. Kaso ang tagal na nakabimbin, bagal nila kumilos. At isa pa, kung di naging vocal about his dislike for ABS when ABS did not use the money paid by DU30 for running his campaign ads, di pa lalabas ang kaso na yun. Instead iba ang kinampayan ng ABS at di sinoli ang pera ni DU30. Gusto nang magsoli ang ABS nang lumabas ang galit ni Du30, at ang tagal bago nila gusto isoli. Nag apologize ang ABS at tinanggap naman "daw" ni DU30. Pero one thing is clear - hindi umaction ang ABS agad sa renewal nila.
Ang ibig sabihin is kung ginawa lang ng ABS ang homework nila maaaprubahan naman sila.GMA just did their part kaya narenew.For how many years na spoiled to the max ang ABS.
GMA released this statement to cover them against idiots who dont know what real story.

March 20, 1992 siya signed into law. Pero ang effectivity nya is counted 15 days after publication sa official Gazette (Apr 27,1992 + 15 days).
