    Ang sensitive ha!

    3. "Shared her experience" ano with matching pagkuha ng video/vlogging? Jusko.

      Delete
    4. Kung ikaw yung doctor, how would you feel?

      Delete
    5. She shared her experience, yes.

But she posted photos of the medical staff without consent, and even had her vlog there.

Video recording in a hospital is punishable by law.

      Delete
    6. Pero to name drop and everything? Tapos may video pa? Love Yeng pero parang mali din siya.

      Delete
    7. Hindi ba doctor shaming yan? May full name, picture (without consent) and mga hindi magagandang sinabi about the service she provided. Mukha bang awarding yan? or thanksgiving?

      Delete
    8. Paki update ng system ng brain mo baka nasa Windows 98 pa eh.

      Delete
    9. Bawal kasi yung ginawa ni yeng. Taking photos/videos ng medical staff. That’s a law.

      Delete
    10. You call it sharing of experience? With naming the doc and posting pic? No! That is shaming, that is cyber bullying. Sensitive topic to dahil people who are not in the medical field WILL never understand how hard it is to practice nang walang gamit! What us wrong with you guys?

      Delete
    11. Yes, Doctor Shaming. Just so you know, bawal magtake ng photos sa loob ng hospital without asking permission. Nagname drop pa sya. She shared her experience? O humahanap ng sympathy? Gusto nya kampihan sya ng netizens to bash the doctor and the hospital staff.

      Delete
    12. Talaga lang? Napaka insensitive mo pag ganun iha.

      Delete
    13. Okay lang magshare ng experience. Okay lang din sana mag-complain to the proper channels. But posting the doctor’s name and photo for the public to see, invasion of privacy na yun.

      Delete
    14. Sharing with the exact name and photo of the doctor? Are you ignorant as f? Be guided by the law

This is the reason why some people tend to see social media as a tool to destroy others.

      Delete
    15. She named and posted a photo of a medical staff on social media. Bawal yan

      Delete
    16. I bet hindi under medical field ang profession mo kasi wala kang alam eh

      Delete
    17. She named the Doctor. Took her photo without her consent. These are against the law. Basa-basa po pag may time.

      Delete
    18. What happened to freedom of speech? I am with Yeng on this one. Not because I am a fan, but because she was just stating facts not opinion of what happened accdg to her perspective.

      Delete
    19. 1:28 yeng is a celebrity and an influencer with millions of followers sa social media. Yes may freedom of speech sya pero kasama dapat dun yung responsibility nya bilang isang maimpluwensyang tao. She should know better

      Delete
    20. freedom of speech has limitations too. she can rant all she want but mentioning the name of the doctora is a no no.

      Delete
    21. 1:28 Freedom of Speech is totally different from propagating misinformation, utter violation of hospital rules, and defamation

      Delete
    22. Freedom of speech is not absolute. Di mo iyan magagamit pag may nalabag na batas like pamamahiya sa medical personnel or pagkuha ng photos at pagpost nang walang permiso.

      Delete
    23. Yeng pa holier than thou pag sa interview pero wala sa lugar in this one.

      Delete
    24. 12:25 hndi sya dpat nag name drop or ng post ng pic if she “just wanted to share her experience / fact sharing”. ganito na lang, kung ikaw kaya ung doc who tried her best to help tas pinost pic and name mo sa socmed without ur permission tas negative ung post, ano kaya mararamdaman mo?

      Delete
    25. Sensitive? You don't know what you're talking about. Just keep quiet please.

      Delete
    26. Pwede naman syang mag share ng experience pero no need to take pictures/vids and name names. siguro naman pag nabasa ng mga people concerned alam na nila kung sino ang tinutukoy. "Cyberbullying and doctor shaming are not only punishable by Philippine law, these also demean the healthcare workers' and patients' rights to privacy. ... According to the Department of Health, the privacy of patients "must be assured at all stages of his treatment."

      Delete
    27. 1:28 Freedom of Speech las limitations too. We are all governed by the law. Masyado nating namimisinterpret ang salitang "freedom" kasi. You are free to say what you want as long as it doesn't go against any law. However, Yeng failed to comply. It is a known fact that taking pictures or videos of any medical staff on duty is prohibited.

Yung problem kasi dito is the lack of equipment, facilities and underpaid staff. Haay yes worried sya sa husband nya, pero probinsya yun eh wala dun yung st. Lukes or Makati Med

      Delete

      Delete

      Delete
    10. What do you mean by fact sharing? Wow gamitan mo din. She’s trying to discredit the doctor e wala naman syang alam sa process or tests sa hospital. And let’s not forget how she’s not even sorry they went cliff diving. Diba?

  3. Maybe dahil sa stress and frustration kaya nya nasabi yung mga ganun. Pero totoo, that was in poor taste what she said to the doctor. Tsk tsk.

      Delete
    13. Hindi ah. May ilang araw na, may time pa magedit2 post2 sa YT at FB. Too much time to get over the "stress and frustration" aka entitlement. She just simply showed who she is as a person

  7. She didn’t have to post the name and the photo of the doctor. She could rant to her heart’s content pero kung talagang sa tingin nya dapat managot yung doktor, file a case/complaint formally. Naiintindihan ko yung galit at frustration nya pero may tamang avenues kasi tayo for this. It’s a serious incident.

They can sue you for this.

No to bullying. No to doctor shaming.

Also, like what they said, sa gobyerno dapat sila magalit dahil hindi napopondohan yung ospital para facilities despite of all the tourist going in Siargao. Yung mga medical staff they did what they have to do despite the limited resources ano kasalanan nila dun diba.

  31. Understandable ang reaksiyon ni yeng dahil asawa niya yun pero posting the doc’s name and picture, ayun lang. saka wag mo na hilingin na magpanic ang dr gaya mo. Paano siya makakapag isip kung ganun?

  32. Yeng, hindi ka doctor or health professional to shame them like this! Kagigil ka!

  33. Grabe sya sa pagka worried ha. Yung alam ko nung hospital scenes in real life lalo pang ER na ganyan. D mapakali yung lovedones. Hawak hawak at ayaw mawalay sa pasyente. Grabe si Yen multitasking pati emotion

  34. Yeng, YOU OUGHT TO APOLOGIZE TO THE DOCTOR and STAFF.

GRABE KA. Your lack of adequate knowledge is detrimental to people who are doing their jobs, in a hospital that the government should have prioritized in the first place.

These are the very people who have saved lives and continue to do so, kahit na KULANG NA KULANG ANG RESOURCES.

  35. I've never seen a doctor na napapanic as to what Yeng must have wanted. Gusto niya kasi na mag panic din mga staff or to act quick. Lol

    ReplyDelete
They’ve seen worse. They were trained to keep calm on high stress situations.

  37. Ms. Yeng, I completely understand where you're coming from. The agony and extreme anxiety you felt was emotionally debilitating considering your husband's situation, which was a pretty normal reaction after an accident. But, the way you handled the situation regardless of how the medical service was given, is totally unprofessional, disrespectful and unacceptable. Using social media as a platform for you to humiliate a person is no difference with the bashers that you have. There are proper ways to bring up this type of incident if you considered it as a form of negligence. Also, the doctor should not be blame alone for the bad service you got. Health sectors which include public hospitals, health centers and other goverment funded health establishments are taken for granted by our government itself just to let you know and I hope you are aware of that big fact. I am a nurse and I've been in the hospital industry for 4 years now so i know what it feels like to be in her situation and to be in your own shoes as well. Nevertheless, I wish and pray for your husband's full recovery and good health. May God Bless ya'll!

  38. Dr. Ben Valdez is a Davao-based trauma surgeon. His team from the Department of Emergency Medicine at Southern Philippines Medical Center is helping setup advanced emergency response system in Siargao.

    SPEAK THE TRUTH on
    Medical details

Siargao is a place to have fun and let me tell everyone that:
    1. The Local Government is doin their best to assess, facilitate, manage the patients when injured

    2. The INFRASCANNER Is purchased by the LGU TO BE used for patients who significantly had traumatic brain injury

    3. SURIGAO DEL NORTE is never remiss in their actions in terms of planning strategising and implementing health care delivery

    4. I WOULD LIKE to congratulate Dra Tan for being so calm “a very stable patient “ and did her best to address the situation... INFRASCANNER its a tool to detect bleed and can be charged every-now and then and it is a tool for traumatic brain injury/ triage
( where can you fin an infrascanner? IF IM NOT MISTAKEN 1 in PGH/ SPMC AND SIARGAO)

    5. Risks and health care must meet toward one goal

    6. In the video the physician did EFAST and writer claiming that Ultrsound is just for pregnant women
(Thank you for doin EFAST DR TAN) EXTENDED FOCUSED ASSESSMENT IN SONOGRAPHY FOR TRAUMA
amazing that this DR tan was able to do an adjunctive primary survey using ultrasound and this is done in trauma centres.... even without the benefit of an xray she can determine hemorrhage in chest and abdominal cavities

Prevention is better than cure.... ACCIDENTS HAPPEN ALL THE TIME AND RISK TAKERS ARE THE ONES PRONE TO THE ACCIDENT..... im fully aware that when accidents happen it is the hospital agents are blamed for a lame service but in the wider spectrum analysis RISK TAKERS MUST KNOW THE PRICE OF INJURIES AND ACCIDENTS .....

We cant blame the hospitals when ONE get shot ... we simply say we have to get the assailant
We cant just shout about how lame the hospitalS are “ for accidents are preventable anyway”

Stoke/ hypertension are life style related illnesses and having those are also long attending lifestyle bad habits... we simply blame hospitals for that matter

BUT AGAIN MALPRACTICE HAS ITS THORNS AND WHIPS AS WELL

BUT IN THIS PARTICULAR STORY WAS THERE ANY ISSUE OF MALPRACTICE?.... what ive noticed are Responsive health care people WANTED TO HELP A RISK TAKER WHO GOT INJURED AND WHO KNOWS THE PRICE OF THAT....
DR TAN THANK YOU FOR THE BEST ASSESSMENT AND I GUESS ANY IMPROVEMENT IS JUST FOR ALL and not for one

WE SIMPLY BLAME PEOPLE WHO ARE MORE THAN WILLING TO HELP

A GCS 15 ambulatory can actually wait for transport for definitive management ....WE CAN GIVE THESE HEALTH WORKERS our RESPECT AND APPRECIATION

AT THE END OF THE DAY LETS RESPECT EACH OTHER.... challenge ko tokay YENG CONSTANTINO

  42. Anything for the vlog. Tsk tsk. I'm so disappointed in you, Yeng. I understand your state of emotions during that high pressured incident but please, you don't have to single out the doctor who helped your husband. You could be sued for doing that. No matter how you managed to tell your story calmly (for vlog purposes), it is so obvious that you really want to shame the doctor. You will be forever remembered as the vlogger (oh, are you a singer?) who resorted to doctor-shaming just because you didn't get St. Lukes treatment from a rural hospital and not as a Christian or vegan. Poor you.
