    2. Huwag assuming girl. Hindi lahat ng Bisaya may ganyang assumption. Labas2x din sa halwa mo.

    3. 1:23 Read the replies of the Bisaya. Mas sila ang assuming

    5. Hello!Chavacano ako, chupa culo basically refers to the name of a shell at the same time it is an adjective which means sucking the shell.Kung green minded kayo, ang literal na meaning ng chupa is suck and culo is the private part of a female, that’s it!

    8. As a cebuano, I never heard a tagalog friend said the word chupa. It’s always ‘nagtatalik’. It’s what I hear in the news, tagalog movies and teleseryes. Sorry, nobody’s claiming that word is ours. And yes, I second the motion na mahina yung comprehension mo.

    5. he is trying to be witty about it. Hindi green minded. He is sucking the snails. Si Erwan hindi naman conservative na Filipino, foreigner sila di ba so tignan sa ganung point of view.

      Delete
    6. Foreigner siya, Filipino siya kung kailan convenient para sa kanya. He is after all both, diba? But this is not about that. He is being insensitive while trying to be a smart as*. Gagawain kahit ano basta meron kikitain na pera or makakakuha ng likes or views...alam niya na Bastos yan pero ginawa pa rin niya dahil he feels more mentally superior than the average Pinoy. O edi ayan, “smart” and “witty” diba? Kahit offensive! ๐Ÿคจ Pero kapag ibang tao ang gumawa niyan, it will simply be unacceptable, at yung mga katulad ni Erwan unang gagamit ng socmed acct niya to call attention to the “insensitive” vocabulary. #DoubleStandard #HowConvenient
Basta “foreigner” okay lang dapat sa atin lahat. #KamangmanganAtItsBest

    7. 01:36---BRAVO! You nailed it. Filipino lang si Erwan kung convenient. Proud pa sya to say sa Pilipinas sya lumaki, while admitting na sya marunong mag.tagalog. He's one of those obnoxious types pero pa.subtle.

    1. True. But then again, minsan ka lang makakita ng videos that focus on Mindanao and the beauty of the cities there.

If clickbait and "pagpapapansin" is an option for casual viewers to get a glimpse of Mindanaoan beaches and food culture, why not? :)

  22. Hala, nagtataka pa ang mga tao bakit ganyan tawag sa amin dito. Syempre Chavacano ang salita namin, nakuha at na-retain namin yun mula sa mga Spanish. Wala yang malisya sa amin. Mga lasang kamo todo! lol

    ReplyDelete
  23. I'm chavacano but I worked in cebu for 10 years. Chupa both have the same meaning in Chavacano ang Cebuano; to suck. It's just that in cebu, the chupa word is only used as bastos, it's a gay linggo therr. In Chavacano, it can br used as bastos or just a usual "suck or sipsipin."

  24. Im from Zamboanga and Chupa Culu is just an ordinary words for us.
