Officials and radio personnel of the Manila Broadcasting Company (MBC) disclosed yesterday that some valuables in their offices were found to be missing after they conducted an inventory at one of its offices Monday afternoon, almost a week after it was gutted by fire.
Lawyer Rudolph Steve Jularbal, MBC vice president of Legal and Regulatory Compliance Group, told Manila Bulletin that a still undetermined amount of money, and a Rolex watch belonging to DZRH radio station host Deo Macalma were believed to have been stolen.
“Ni-request ni Mr. Macalma kasi na pumunta sa office nya para i-retrieve yung gamit nya and he was allowed. Pag punta nya don, eh bukas yung drawer nya… nakabukas yung drawers saka box ng relo nya nawawala,” he said.
Macalma’s office remained “intact” after a fire, which started at Star City Wednesday 12:31 a.m. last week and reached Task Force Bravo, hit MBC.
Jularbal believed that the items were stolen at the height of the fire.
When asked if outsiders may have taken the items, Jularbal said it was unlikely because MBC security personnel were immediately stationed to guard the office since the fire was put out.
“May guwardiya sa harap saka sa likod. Sa tingin namin, during the fire pinasok yung kwarto, kasi after the fire, nakaposte na [sila]. Although di namin alam [kung sino talaga],” Jularbal said.
On Tuesday, October 8, Jularbal said that they were set to file a request to conduct more inventories at other offices which were not affected by fire.
“Gusto naming gawan ng inventory, kasi punong puno ng gamit,” he said.

Although involvement in the entertainment industry is a major part of the lives of celebrities, many still hope for a happy ending behind the cameras. When Attractive Personality (AP) began her career as a teenage hopeful, many were impressed with her looks and feistiness. She had potential to become a character actress, who can shift from protagonist to antagonist roles.
Somewhere along the way, AP’s career lost direction. AP had projects on tv and in movies, but fame was elusive. She even changed her image and admitted to undergoing enhancement. Still, those factors did not make her an important network talent. However, AP remained in the loop thanks to social media and several controversies that required her to express her reactions.
Finally, AP made an announcement that made her fans ecstatic. AP revealed that she was in a serious relationship and to prove the level of their relationship, she proudly said she was bound for motherhood. That admission made many people happy for her. Even if her career had many bumps, this time, she was going to settle down.
A quiet and peaceful life was not the case. Several months into the relationship and having her bundle of joy, a tragic rumor has started to move along the grapevine. Allegedly, her relationship had to end, as an incident triggered her to leave. Her partner threw a punch at her and the impact was strong enough to break her nose. Thus, AP had to undergo reconstruction. Rather than risk exposure to more possible abuse, AP moved away. After all, her face and body are her assets if and when she decides to return to the screen.

However, the atmosphere became electrifying when SA noticed YH was attractive. As the taping days passed, SA grew a liking for YH. Other than having attractive looks, YH is a very promising actor. He has the talent and the looks to go with it. Naturally, he can be very attractive. As the two of them interacted in many scenes and being more experienced as an actor, SA volunteered to pass on his knowledge and skills to YH. YH appreciated the effort, as even the appropriate blocking was taught by SA. Sometimes, SA would get to touch YH, who had no idea of SA’s preference. Besides, SA was playing a tough character in their project.
One time, CT noticed that SA seems to be getting chummy with YH. Worse, he would catch SA taking seemingly innocent photos of YH and some of them were candid. YH would often change his clothes in the tent and he would just be in his briefs. CT was worried, as he even saw SA pretending to be asleep, but something seems to be moving under the middle part of the sheets.
Not to create tension between them, CT talked to a Production Head (PH) about his observations. A few days later, PH told YH to be discreet in changing clothes, but no mention about SA was in their conversation. Eventually, YH was moved to another tent, which meant CT and SA were left together. During an unguarded moment, SA glanced over CT, who was browsing at photos on his mobile. SA was shocked when he realized that the photos were that of YH while he was changing. The photos were similar to what he had on his phone.
SA looked for someone who could help address his apprehensions. So, SA approached PH and told what he saw. PH could only scratch his head, as SA had no idea of what CT had told earlier and now, SA had a similar story. Moreover, SA said that he realized why YH was transferred and the decision had something to do with CT. PH could not react, as the conclusion was that the two had not yet tapped into their gaydars or were discreetly trying to score one over the other with YH as the major prize.
