Difficult Diner

Certain public officials are celebrities in their own right. When they enter establishments, people who recognize them will surely glance or if brave enough, will ask for selfies. Other are accommodating, others can be snubs, and sometimes, their security detail can prevent citizens from approaching. Nonetheless, their presence would generate even a bit of excitement.
When Female Official (FO), who’s a favorite media subject these days, entered a restaurant, the staff and diners were excited, as it was a moment to get up, close, and personal with her. FO was her usual self, which did not really exude of what was next to come. The servers came over to make sure everything FO would need would be served.
The staff watched as FO went over the menu. However, things became uneasy when FO requested a dish that was not on the menu. Unless one is a close friend or associate of the owner or manager of the restaurant, ordering a dish that is not on the list seems odd. FO is neither, except that she can be considered a celebrity given her visibility in mainstream and social media.
The staff had no choice but to follow FO to avoid getting her ire and possible negative feedback. The power of social media can make or break any establishment and obviously, the restaurant wanted to please customers. Ordering the dish not on the restaurant’s menu, did not stop there. FO even gave instructions on how to prepare the dish she wanted and told the staff that she was a chef herself and so she knows what she wants. It's like, FO made her own recipe and she found a restaurant to cook that 'new' dish for her. Lucky for FO, the restaurant was kind enough to adhere to her whims.

Not a Match

Whenever a showbiz couple breaks up, fans are divided among sympathizers. Usually, the first one who goes public and admits the failed relationship gains more mileage and sympathy than the one who opts to keep quiet. Thus, the impression is that the first one is the one aggrieved and deserves to be out of the relationship. Usually, so as not to fan the fire, the other party would not react anymore and hope the controversy dies down.
As soon as Talented Actress (TA) admitted that her relationship with Her Boyfriend (HB) was over, followers felt her sadness and sent her positive and encouraging messages. Shedding a few tears was also seen as TA’s expression of being hurt and regret over the ending of their relationship, as HB seemed to be her perfect partner. HB never took the limelight away from TA and he seemed contented to pursuing his career.
Insider friends of HB had the opposite reaction when the relationship was over. They sighed relief and happy that TA was out of HB’s life. The friends saw a different TA with HB. They claim that the bottom line was that TA and HB were no longer on the same wavelength. HB was ready to settle down, as he was financially and emotionally ready. By contrast, TA could not leave her easy-going ways.
Allegedly, both had opposite ways of viewing body marks. HB, according to friends, was on the conservative side and actually was not in favor of marking the body. TA did the worse, as she had her body marked. Then, she had not forgotten her days of savouring the ambiance of bars and booze. Many times, she would come home drunk and HB did not like such idea. Sensing she would not change, HB knew the right path to take instead of letting the two of them suffer. Thus, the two had to call it quits before things worsen and resentment takes over.
