    1. hindi nya din kasi nagets. hindi yung "pledge allegiance to the flag" yung pinaka offensive sa sinabi nya. and besides, wag sya mag pretend na he did not mean anything by it

  5. Ikwento mo sa pagong! Damage control na lang! You meant what you said, palaka! Did the country you so loyally pledge allegiance to give you the opportunities and “popularity” you’re very much enjoying now? Did you receive support from your fellow Americans in your pageants? Don’t feel superior just because you were born in a country with a colder climate. And really, what’s there to be proud of about America? Mass shootings, mass ignorance, drg problems, a government run by clowns, … it’s not too far from the PH, tbh.

    1. OA mo naman. Bash mo siya tapos damay yung Bansa na wala naman kinalaman sa statement niya. America is first world, sa tin third world. So, malayo, masakit man tanggapin.

Be more knowledgable when it comes to current events worldwide so next time you comments you won't easily get butthurts and had a chance to speak your thoughts without looking dumb and defensive throwing out of context words. What she said is true 10:58.

    9. To 9:35 did you know that USAID donated millions of dollars in the philippines just for improving hygiene? In case you didnt know it was one of the news when the US congress investigating foreign aids. That tells you exactly why phillippines needed millions of dollars just for poor hygienes and for you to say that...tsktsk.

  7. Nalunod sa isang basong tubig- that glamorous job you have modeling, acting, easy money, meeting important people, living in a high rise building on the most affluent side of the Phil.must be intoxicating to you. Opportunities that you never have before that you become cocky and feeling almighty. I hope both of you learn so much from this controversy.

  8. Its fine, if you pledge allegiance to the US - you were jorn there afterall. So your socialization is American and not Pinoy. Thus, what are you doing here? Go develop back in the country you pledge allegiance to. You have no right to represent a country you feel is not worth your allegiance. We will always doubt you.

  9. Uwi na lang kayo sa America.

  18. nakakatawa etong si Jether. Full Filipino pero consider nyang halfies sya. Yung anak ko born and raised here in America pero lage nyang sinasabi "I'm Filipino." never ko syang narinig na Fil-Am kasi full Filipino sya.

    1. 11:42, your child is a Fil-Am…ethnically Filipino but American by nationality. My son is a Fil-Am also, but I always tell him his loyalty should be to the US where he is born.

      Delete
    2. Kudos to you po ❤️ Kasi pinalaki nyo po ang anak nyo na aware syang Filipino sya.

      Delete
    3. @11:42, hindi naman kasi uso ang term na Fil-Am dito, i mean where I am. Ang madalas kong naririnig sa anak ko & cousins nya plus others na dito na ipinanganak - they acknowledge na ang roots nila ay Filipino. It just happened that they were born and raised here.

And yeah! Sana sa pag alliance to the flag mo eh mahalin ka din nyang bansang yan, kahit jan ka pa pinanganak, madali kayong masisipa ni Trump.. so sana kampihan ka din ng bansa mo.. dika namen need dito! 27. If you can't define a concept or an idea, then that means that concept/idea means nothing :D :D :D A borderless country/nation is not a country/nation, it is just a piece of land that anybody can claim ;) ;) ;)

  35. Is he consider as a halfie? When both of his parents are Filipinos?

    ReplyDelete
  36. Jose Rizal would call you 'malansang isda'.

In one of my history courses in UP Diliman in college, I came across the work of Historian Zeus Salazar who has this concept of Pantayong Pananaw - the world through the perspective of the Filipino. This is the true measure of what a Filipino is - do you view the world through the eyes, the socialization and culture of a Filipino? Do you speak the language so that you can converse, in context, with other Filipinos from the perspective of the Filipino social reality? If not, you are not really of a 'Filipino mind' however you claim you are. It is not just the language - it is the socialization. Language expertise however is a big component.

This guy cannot enter the mode of 'pantayong pananaw'. He is too 'colonial', with an American worldview. Therefore, how can he truly represent Filipinos?
