Resolve Your Problem with Your Sibling

When Pretty Celebrity (PC) broke into showbiz, her personal life was thrown in the limelight because of the circumstances of her past. As part of showbiz royalty, PC was pressured to earn her space to make sure the legacy of the family name live on. So far, PC has been doing well with her numerous projects and acting recognition. Equally controversial as her background is the string of relationships that she had. Luckily, PC finally found her Significant Other (SO) in a young actor, who has shown that he has potential to make a name for himself in the field of acting.

As all seems to be well, a friend of the non-showbiz sibling (SS) of PC got alarmed at the actions of the celebrity sister. Allegedly, PC did something that was quite unkindly for a sibling to do. Even if she has showbiz connections, SS opted to veer away from the klieg lights and pursue her own passion in the food industry. Having PC as an indirect endorser has helped SS in marketing her product.

During an event, SS participated on behalf of PC. SS did the budget, prepared the food, and manned the booth. When the time came for collection, PC allegedly took all the earnings and did not leave SS a single cent. This action prompted people to wonder if the sisters have an ongoing feud. Prior to this incident, social media accounts of PC and SS were full of their photos together and each one acknowledged their love for each other. Thus, the action of PC was unthinkable.

PC is definitely not short of income as her network makes sure she has projects left and right. Her newest project has promises of a grand teleserye. She also has movie projects and endorsements. So, the question is why did she not just leave the earnings to her sibling? Sadly, some are pointing out the fact that she might have been influenced by SO, who is known to be a tightwad. Nonetheless, sibling problems should be worked out, and PC with all her blessings should be kinder to people, especially her family.

Struggles of the Actor Pay Off

The saga of the career of Performer Actor (PA) typifies the roller coaster ride most talents experience. Once a talent is discovered and launched by a network, much is expected. The talent is built up in his/her niche and subjected to good and bad publicity left and right. To assure recall, the talent is bestowed a title that fans can associate with him/her. Once the initial salvo is successful, the talent will have seemingly endless projects. However, one wrong move, such as an unexpected failed project or unexplainable negative attitude, can drop all plans to strengthen his/her foothold in showbiz.

In the case of PA, his entry in the business came at a time when good-looking hunks were slowly making a niche for themselves. With his boyish looks and charm, PA seemed destined to become famous. One appearance in a reality show propelled PA into the limelight, and soon, PA was touted as the next major talent of the network. However, people noticed that other than his good looks, PA was still raw in terms of acting and delivering lines clearly in the native language.

After sometime, PA had to face the fact that his novelty was fading and that he had to reinvent himself. He tried to veer away from goody roles, and he did manage to score rare hits. However, these hits were projects with other stars, and thus, glory was not his alone. Like other talents who feared stagnancy in their career, PA tried his luck somewhere else to pursue a dream. Critics said that this move was a wrong strategy as he would not be visible in the local market. Nonetheless, PA went ahead and tried his luck. Rumors have it that PA even agreed to appear in very minor roles and forego payment just so he can gain exposure and claim that he was able to have international experience.

When PA returned, his network has not given him the exposure he needed, which made his restless. Soon, stories floated that he was moving to another network (AN). However, AN was not interested as PA was not exactly good in acting. While the thought of a dead career was hovering, PA had Lady Luck smile at him. Finally, his network gave him a project with an interesting cast, which critics have already raised questions if they can pull through the ratings game (but that’s another story). Perhaps his network felt that losing PA to AN might not be a good option. Even if PA has been experiencing the downside of his career, he is homegrown and an original discovery of the said network. Thus, giving him second chances would be good for the network’s image.
