The MTRCB is just stating that for a show that has been on air for more than 10 years, still has its all employees on a temporary or non regular status of employment. That is one excuse of Showtime of why they should not be suspended. Their staff will be on "no work, no pay" situation.
the mtrcb is only saying that hindi nila responsibilidad yun. responsibilidad yun ng employer nila. Na tbh matagal ng inirereklamo ang contractualization sa mga broadcast companies. Pero wala nmn gingagawang action ang mga nga employers nila. So re sa no work no pay, dun sila sa management ng show nila or sa network magrkeklamo
Tenure is not a reason. Lalo na for them na walang perm na airing rights. One day, they have business, the next day, may covid. Leave employment issues to DOLE, and be fair to check you dad's show as well.

May point ang MTRCB dito. Kung sa US ako and I work more than 36 hours a week then I am entitled to be a regular employee with benefits. Sa laki ng kinikita ng shows bakit di man lang ambunan ng benefits ang mga workers nila? Anong pinagkaiba nila sa SM na contractual lang ang employees. Kawawang mamamayan na pumapayag sa mediocre treatment sa kanila.
MTRCB was created by the dictatorrs era...dapat i- abolished na ..hindi naman nagagamit ng maayos....me KBP naman na me noted na " PG " etc ---can be seen monitor ng TV...

i think this pertains to the people behind the camera na matagal ng nagtatrabaho sa industry but still hindi regular kaya sla talaga affected ng no-work-no-pay na yan...sila talaga mas kawawa sa consequences ng mga artista/management.
I wish Government employees would be treated the same way as private employees. Hindi naman na pre requisite sa kanila nowadays ang civil service completion. Kung sino sino na lang nagiging empleyado ng gobyerno basta may kilala sa loob. Haist. Kawawang Pinas.
