To be honest, he didn't have charm (to me anyway). It was the ABS CBN hype machinery at its finest. They're really good at hyping their artists. Having said that, may talent talaga si JLC; that's undeniable. He's an actor. Pero he never was the leading man type that ABS projected him as.

He seems to be in a good place. Matured a lot and in a mature relationship too. He speaks with depth and calm. But I agree that whatever charm he possessed has dampened over time. In saying that, maybe those things pass anyway. He seems better off these days and that's what matters.
Hindi lahat ng babae katulad mo ng taste sa lalake..magaling siya umarte pero hindi over all packaged as an actor. It's his acting talent that charmed the people including the good boy image branding from the management.
