    1. Show-off agad? Can't they be sharing they too are struck by natural calamities same as ordinary citizens? Sure they can replace them but they worked hard for those things and some may have sentimental value that exceeds monetary value.

    3. 5:19 what do you mean? Im not talking about the st*pid resiliency, i am talking about life in general. That we have to be thankful and appreciative with the little things. What's wrong with being grateful?

    3. Maka-bundok ka naman anon 2:13. Sa lower Antipolo ang bahay nya. She has a nice house sa isang village dito sa Antipolo. I've known Yassi since she was a "dalaginding."

  5. Kinda showing off privilege. Tipong nasalanta pero keri pa rin and may privilege kasi nasa Batangas naman unlike a lot of our countrymen who have all their belongings gone and have nowhere else to go.

    1. Saka dapat embrace natin yung paper-less there are a lot instances na pwede sana bawasan yung usage ng papers esp in schools and offices

  8. neighbor namin sila Yassi, near SM Masinag.
Not passable even sa mga SUV or deep waist deep ang water + almost 48hrs no electricity.

  9. Hohum, why do people insist on building houses on flood prone areas. That makes no sense at all.

    1. Maybe they had no choice. Either bahain/with faultline/or tsunami prone

      Delete
    2. Stop shaming people because of their choices. Antipolo was never a flood prone area. It was high up in the mountains so flood would unlikely to happen (or so we thought). But guess what, it did.. In today's time, you couldn't really tell. All areas are now susceptible to nature's wrath

    3. You are right, but I guess people don’t have money so they take chances. But we all know that this is just the beginning of more foods to come in the coming years.

Praying for those who are severely affected.

    1. Same. Thankful for surviving and praying/helping those who weren't as lucky as ours. Nakakatakot talaga. We were out of power ng buong araw at no signal din. Hoping for better years to come.

  12. Hmmm, that place has no future. The sea water level is rising fast every year.
