Keri lang sakin ang maternity shoots, its a moment worth remembering naman talaga pero isip din sana ng bagong concept sa shoot. May suya factor na yung naka-ethereal flowy dress with floral background kineme. Imbes na photoshoot, why not magpa-commission sila ng portrait? Or use Bencab's Sabel as inspiration? Or black and white on grey background ala Irving Penn?

as a mom myself, yung maternity shoot nung una di ko din maappreciate, pero ngayon nagsisisi ako na hindi ako nagka decent photo to celebrate my pregnancy. hindi na kasi ako magbubuntis ulit. Now I dont remember how i look like when i was preggo.
I also have a friend who did all those hulabaloo kasi at that time alam nyang one and only chance to get pregnant nya because she has an ailment. so every chance they get, photoshoot. two years after, it was the husband who departed. So atleast she has all those photos to show their kid of the dad's love and greatfulness for having him (the kid).
Yung iba dito maka tawag ng tacky sa buntis. I understand if its not your cup of tea but dont you dare na sirain yung celebration ng ibang tao dahil buhay nila yan in the first place.
Pati yung nagpopost ng preg tests kesyo yucky daw. Im not even married yet pero di ako bitter. Celebration of life yun. And hello! You guys dont know what they went through before they had a baby. Some were trying for a lot of years. Pandemic na mga sis. We should learn how to see the good in everything (as much as possible)

Also, it’s easy to scroll and ignore. Hindi naman sila humingi ng pera sa inyo to have those shoots and those parties. Let people celebrate their milestones. It’s not that hard to let people do whatever makes them happy, especially if wala naman silang nasasagasaang tao.
