Just to clear things out, this is a different kind of rapid test. It detects the antigen or the protein spikes in the virus. So this is a good alternative for RT-PCR which is a complicated procedure thus results take too long to be released. However, this antigen swab test is prone to false negative results just like what happened to a certain gov in the us. But this is definirely better than the antibody rapid test in determining active cases.
