Even social media puro about Dengue. Sana fever pa lang, pina-check up na agad. Kawawa naman yung bata. She has been working to help her family financially tapos simpleng pagpapa-check up, hindi pa nagawa. Rest in peace, baby girl.:(

    3. Please let us not add hurt and regret to the family. If we were in the shoes of the parents, these comments will crush their hearts.

    4. Hindi ba nadala agad sa Doctor? Dapat on the 1st sign of fever, check up agad. Mabuti nang maging praning kesa magsisi later on

And the test is so expensive 1500 to 2500 per process ng blood and it will undergo 3 process. Imagine if 3 of your kids have fever that will be so expensive. This is where the problem lies, kahit sa public hospital ang mahal pa din ng test. Parents should know how to prevent platelets from dropping for 3 days.

  8. I saw the news kanina and sabi nung mother, sana daw dinala nya sa hospital nung nilagnat. Sorry, but uso ang Dengue, it’s all over the news, first signs of fever pa lang dapat dinala na agad sa hospital ang bata.

  13. To the family of the departed, sincere condolences to their loss. May the other sibling get well.

I seek medical attention immediately when I observe my kids with fever showing any of these:

    1 Above 38C temperature
    2 Doesn't reduce despite medication
3 Comes and goes within 12hrs
4 With body pains and headache
    5 Difficulty breathing
    6 Vomitting

The younger ones can not exactly describe how they are feeling, hence bringing them to doctors will help a lot in treating them. The lab tests and x-ray scans would help pinpoint what exactly is going on, and what treatment would be required.
