Correction 1/3/2019 12:30AM, Alicia Machado was ALMOST STRIPPED of her Miss Universe crown because of her weight gain during her reign. Donald Trump gave her 2 weeks to lose weight or she will be dethroned. The only dethronement in Miss Universe history happened in 2002, when Oxana Fedorova of Russia was stripped of her title due to refusal to fulfill her duties as Miss Universe. Her first runner-up, Justine Pasek of Panama, took her place. Get your facts straight.
Yep, too many going on sa costume nya. Hindi coordinated yung print ng damit nya sa parol parang lahat na lang siniksik, kulang na lang pati mga national heroes and national animals bitbitin nya.
Ang pangit talaga ng parol sa likod ni Cat, sino ba nakaisip nyan? May gulong pa, di man naawa sa magsusuot. Kung malaki points ng national costume talo na agad Pilipinas.
May gulong ang natl costume ni cat gawa ng weight since may technical stuff(for lighting) s loob ng parol. Sayang nga lng ksi hndi gumana kung kelan ang showcase.
But somehow, poorly ang execution s likod ng parol kasi pinagsiksikan ang lhat.
Pero i still commend cat's team for their hardwork and trying to be out of the traditional yearly costume for miss u yet still proudly representing our country
I dont think so since ibang item ang nirerepresent nila. Si cat ay parol since isa ito s mga items n meron tyo mga every christmas, while kay alicia is hndi nman parol and Trompillo (not sure) ito. Pati parang common n may malaki bilog s likod ng candidate as there natl costume. For example ay si miss india 2016 and miss barbados 2016.
Ah The MissU who was strip of her crown by The Donald Duck now POTUS, coz of issue of overweight.

The purposes were served. They both contributed pride and glory to their countries. The "flaws" were overridden by the victory!
