  10. sound insight. i’ve been married for almost 20 years & we have given each other space, had separate & joint finances, & had a sense of humor through it all. much like the bolzicos. more power to them!

    1. ako din vaks. 16 years married, same set up. you don’t have to lose your individuality just cos you took a vow to be as one. Cheers to finding our happily ever after.

    2. True. Ako 5 yrs married pa lang. Pero malaking bagay that we give each other space to grow sa career man or sa personal interests. We accept and recognize each other's individuality.

  13. Same here, I’m filipina and husband is British. We are two different individuals but we are married. Whenever I go back Philippines I don’t force him
go, he’s always left here in England for two weeks and it’s lovely feeling to see him after weeks being apart. In addition, I don’t force him to eat filipino food, as I said we are still two different individuals

    1. Same here. I am boholano and my husband kapampangan. Chosera.

    2. Ngek! Haha!@ 8.56. - not 1.52

  14. That works kasi wala pa silang anak.

  15. the dog is so cute. kapatid na ba ng turtle nila yan? haha. they are so lucky to have found each other. wish ko rin ng relationship na ganyan ka secure and mature.

    1. Yup. Saka may isa pa silang kapatid na turtle.

  16. Si nico kahit minsan nagiging OA sa social media posts, pagdating sa mga what-really-matters (like marriage/work/family/
friendships) masesense mo yung maturity and intelligence niya.

    1. That's probably why Solenn married him. He has a great sense of humor, sometimes even childish, but he's also mature in his way of thinking. Good looking too. Rare species, hay.

    2. Solenn is an intelligent woman too, bagay na bagay sila.

  17. Nico,

Nice advice. I did this is giving space thing, let them enjoy some time with friends.... but then despite that, my husband cheated on me 🤷🏻‍♀️

    Ang sakit pala mga baks!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. That has nothing to do with space. it's your husband. if he will cheat, he will cheat.

      Delete
    2. A cheater will cheat even if you are around him 24/7.

      Delete
    3. same thing here ... he cheated on me ... dumped him right away ... I created my own paradise and I am happy with my daughter

      Delete
  18. For a time, yes. But it will change once they grow older. And different once they have kids.

    ReplyDelete

Tingin ko rin Nico is speaking about the current situation.

      Delete
  19. What if may anak na sila will he still fly to Argentina to spend Christmas with his family without Solenn and their child? Nakaisip lang ng scenario...advance mag isip

    1. Depende sa age ng bata especially the first holiday. Si Belle wala pang one yung anak. Sa France nagpasko.

  20. That's what you call a broadminded person! Most filipino men/husband are not.. sorry to say that!

    ReplyDelete

    1. Close minded kasi karamihan sa mga pinoy at possessive pa lalo na ang mga pinay which is ayaw ng mga foreigner. I know kasi I am married to a different race.

  21. So true.... MOST GUYS LIKE TO CONTROL their wife. Once married, women sacrifice their career. Goals and dreams are set aside just to please the husband. Look at Leah Salonga’s husband—- he is very supportive of Leah’s career which continues to shine and soar.

I don’t think so. Balikan natin sila pag may anak na. Next!

  23. i wonder if ganun pa rin sila if may anak na sila.. i dont think so it still apply. just my thoughts.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Malawak ang pag-iisip ng mga yan. They’ll adjust. Saka pwede naman magka-alone time kahit may anak. “Give and Take”.

      Delete
  24. These two are perfect for each other.
    I like them

    ReplyDelete
  25. Leave and cleave. Nobody thinks this strange that Nico prioritizes his extended family over his immediate family and Solenn the same? Imagine when they have kids already. As a young couple they should be making their own traditions for the very reason that they are married to each other now. That condition Nico says only applied when he was still single. Should have ONLY applied. It would be better if they split the holidays between their families or on a different holiday. HOME is where the heart is and this is TELLING.

    1. That is not Nico's extended family, that's Nico's immediately family. Ano ba. He has no roots in the Philippines, is it bad for him to go spend Xmas with his parents and siblings?
