SM Supermalls Wins 4 Anvils

SM Supermalls scored two Golds and two Silvers at the “Gabi ng Parangal” for the 53rd Anvil Awards last March 23, held at Shangri-La Hotel at The Fort in Taguig City.

SM received a Gold Anvil for its ‘SM Moments’ digital campaign, under the ‘Public Relations Tools: Multimedia – Social Media’ category for its moving tribute to memorable moments of customers in SM malls in the past three decades. As part of the ‘SM Moments’ campaign, SM teamed up with Tribal Worldwide Philippines for the ‘Daddy’s Girl’ 2017 Father’s Day online video that won another Gold Anvil under the ‘Public Relations Tools: Multimedia/Digital – Online Video’ category.

Paying tribute to the dedication and hard work of OFWs, SM bagged a Silver Anvil for the ‘Pamaskong Handog Para Sa Global Pinoys,’ under the ‘Public Relations Programs Directed at Specific Stakeholders – Overseas Filipino Workers,’ for treating the country’s unsung heroes and their families to a fun day in participating malls nationwide.

Also under the ‘Public Relations Programs Directed at Specific Stakeholders’ category, SM earned a Silver Anvil for  #NationalSuperMomsDay, SM’s first-ever digital-led Mother’s Day campaign turning the laid-back celebration into an exciting selfie-worthy family event online and on-ground.

“These achievements in the field of public relations indeed underscore our steadfast commitment to convey fun, useful, and inspiring messages that meaningfully touch the lives of mallgoers across the country,” said SM Supermalls senior vice president for marketing Jonjon San Agustin.

Conferred annually by the Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP), the Anvil is a symbol of excellence in Public Relations in the country. The Awards recognize outstanding public relations tools, programs, and practitioners discerned by select PR professionals and assessed by a distinguished multi-sectoral jury.
