Di naman talaga compulsory na ipasok sila agad by 5years old.

    3. sa ganyang edad ng mga bata pumapasok sila not necessarily para mag aral katulad ng mga mag aaral sa school kung hindi para sila turuan ng pakikisalamuha, paano sila mag work as a team at a young age, how to give respect sa kaedadan, etc etc. para kapag nasa tamang school na sila, alam na nila ang basic.

    8. Grabe din ang child stress for a 5 yr old. Maraming assignment.

Turned 5 yrs old within school yr 2017-2018 nga di ba. So kung grade one sya for 2018-2019 school yr eh di he's either 6 or will be 6 yrs old within that school yr.

  2. It's ok to start them young. The key is it shouldn't be that too rigid.

Nasa parents parin naman yan kung anong edad mo sila gustong pag umpisahing pag aralin as long na pasok sa requirements to enroll ng dep ed.

  8. all my 3 children started at the age of 5 when they entered 1st grade. they turned 6 within the schoolyear. nothing wrong with them. no, they’re not finding 1st grade easy. my two eldest did not know how to read when they entered 1st grade. within the the year, they slowly learned to read. my youngest knew how to read before grade 1. my kids did not have homework sa weekdays. i agree kids should enjoy their childhood. but going to school early on doesnt mean they dont get to enjoy. i find school an important aspect of my children’s social development. my kids only have average performances sa school and i always remind them that as long as they did their best, i would never be disappointed. i think it depends on the parents and the school you have selected. what deped is trying to consider is yung extra years sa k to 12 kasi 2 extra years na gastos yan for parents. so if they start early, hindi masyadong matagal yung pagpa aral sa kids.

And the problem is suoer bilis ng turo, dun ako naawa sa bata then dami assignnent. Balance is the key eh yan ang di alam ng Deped wala naman follow up and internal body to check if ok ba ang mga batang students

He’s not eligible or qualified yet.

    Next scenario

Early intervention is the key. Think of the positive outcome not all negative.

Think of it as beneficial to you and your kid.

They start as early as 3. Ngayon, kung wala pa sila sa eligible ages, di pa sila tatangapin for kinder or grade 1.
Yung niece ko she started as early as 3. Matalino at nag-top sa class, marunong magbasa at magsulat. Problem is yung last rule for eligibility to enrol in grade 1 is the kid should have turned 6 years old by August 31 of the current school year. December pa sya mag-6 so she is not eligible to enrol based sa old rule. This new rule is definitely good news for her kasi she is now eligible to enrol in grade 1 this school year.
My own 3½-year-old daughter had one-week trial class in preparation for SY 2018-2019. Yes, nahirapan sa schedule dahil need ma-disrupt ng tulog nya dahil 9 a.m. ang class but she really was able to adapt well. She really enjoyed school where they would sing, dance, make friends with other kids, and they had different activities such as coloring, art work making, bubble making. Pag bata pa sila hindi naman sila nagsusulat agad more on they are being prepared pa lang sa school setting. It is better to start at an early age because a kid’s brain is like a sponge, you will be surprised how well they can adapt and learn.
Most importantly, home is the first and most important school and parents should be the one to decide if ready na yung anak nila. Iba-iba rin kasi ang mga bata. Some are fast learners so dapat i-support and enhance yung potentials. Some are average so more support and more time if needed.

  23. Eligible guys. Di naman sinabing at 5 years old dapat nasa gr 1 na. Kaya may kids na parang tinatamad sa school kasi it's too easy for them kaya dapat mataas na. Kay siguro maagang nagaaral ang kids so that they could go to those schools.

  24. hindi ba may lumabas nakaraan na 6 dapat ang grade 1. ang pagkaka intindi ko kc for example 5 years old ka pero mag 6 ka na palugit nila, for example ay august ang bday mo pede sya ipasok sa grade 1. isa pa choice mo padin yun kung sa tingin mo hindi pa sapat para sa anak mo edi wag mo ipasok. kung matalino ang bata why not.

I think its good kasi makaka learn ng social skills and di na mahirap pag nag big school na. Where I grew up our community had nursery school (playgroup, kinder1,kinder2) bago mag big school (pre-school-Grade7). I have a friend who teaches in our school na and super alarming na nga daw na mas marunong pa mag click sa gadget ang kids now kesa humawak ng pencil and crayons. Kaya kesa tambay sa bahay with the yayas its better if they are in school and learning.

And isang preparatory lang. No need for nursery, kinder 1, kinder 2 or prep. Kaya if 2.5 or going 3 pa lang ang baby, wag magmadaling papasukin sa school.

If kaya ng budget, iplayschool. Turuan sa bahay. Laro laro lang and educational.
