Grabe na talaga panahon ngayon. Konting kibot may hanash.
as an artist, you have to also decline ads or projects that were plagiarized. clear na clear na ginaya nila sa sutukil sauce yung ad na yun. she should be ashamed
Alex has a say., i remember ann had a backlash too when she agreed to pose holding a cig in a mag cover., Yes, we should blame the agency/ publisher but the artists need to be accountable too
Fair point rin kasi as stars, they're admired and may aspirational peg yung ad.
Exactly. It simple is saying dark is unattractive. The whole marketing campaign could have been done differently. Alex is of legal age to know if she is promoting smth bad or good. People are against body shaming. This is just the same.
May TV ba kayo? Trabaho nya yan eh. Jan sya kumikita. Mema lang? Magstatus kayo #FeelingBright para kunwari may sense kayo. Hahahaha
What's wrong with a dark skin.
Kaya rin hard for them to get the matter of self love kasi they are retokadas who probably also bleach themselves then indirectly say the typical Pinoy color is something undesirable.
Actually, the commenter has a valid point- that the tvc is equating dark skin with disgust which is so wrong! While it's everyone's prerogative to choose their skin tone these days with the aid of so-called whitening products, it is wrong to equate negative values to dark skin just for their product to sell. I guess Alex could not care less or understand deeper where the commenter is coming from. Hats off to the Twitter user for being more discerning.
Makabili nga ng block and white
Hahah it’s a commercial. It’s up to you kung maapektuhan ka o tatangkilikin. Majority of pinoys wanted to have light skin. That is exactly the point of the commercial. Kung ayaw mo umitim gumamit ka nito.
Lol na offend si basher sa commercial. Obviously, insecure siya sa dark skin niya. She shouldn't blame Alex for that. She is just doing her job.

ReplyDeleteSaying na "Ewww" yung maitim hindi masama?

ReplyDeletenagmamagaling din ung basher eh
DeleteShe agreed to do the commercial, it means she liked the purpose of the commercial.
DeleteKorekkk!!!

DeleteGusto kong pumuti kaya bibili ako ng ini endorse ni Alex, di ko gusto shades ng skin ko, does that makes me a bad person or wrong in that matter?
ReplyDeleteIf you advertise something na hindi mo inaadvocate personally, that means you are an unprincipled sell-out.

ReplyDeleteAlex is soooo annoying
ReplyDeletebasta NAKAKATAWA yung commercial. boom puti! lol
ReplyDeleteKaya rin hard for them to get the matter of self love kasi they are retokadas who probably also bleach themselves then indirectly say the typical Pinoy color is something undesirable.
