TNT Event Garners International Recognition

TNT endorsers Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza, with the brand’s local and international awards

Living up to its name, the TNT Super Panalo Day program of Smart Communications won an international award for displaying excellence in event management.

Held in February 2016 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, TNT Super Panalo Day was a thanksgiving event for loyal and new customers of TNT, the value brand of Smart. It was meant to celebrate two TNT milestones – its 15-year legacy of empowering Filipinos with affordable call and text promos; and its digital shift into offering mobile internet services.

TNT Super Panalo Day will be recognized at the Golden World Awards (GWA) ceremony in Bulgaria this October. Established in 1990, the GWA is organized annually by the International Public Relations Association to recognize PR practices that meet international standards of excellence.

Thousands of customers attended the TNT Super Panalo Day, which brought together the brand’s biggest endorsers and ambassadors. The stellar line-up was led by action star Robin Padilla, the phenomenal AlDub tandem of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza, and Tropang TNT basketball players.

Aside from entertaining the crowd, the event delivered “panalo” (winning) moments for them via exciting games and prizes. TNT also used the event to introduce its budget-friendly Tropa Apps offers. These allow customers to access their favorite apps like Facebook, Clash of Clans, and Viber for only P10.

“TNT always strives to provide its customers with ‘panalo’ moments through practical and meaningful services. Now, aside from having access to budget-friendly call and text services, TNT subscribers can use mobile internet to connect with loved ones, share stories, and access a host of information and services,” said TNT brand head Miriam Choa.

TNT Super Panalo Day proved to be an effective platform in communicating the brand’s mobile data offers. In the three months following the event, TNT recorded a 12% increase in mobile internet users, versus the three months preceding the celebration.

Earlier this year, TNT Super Panalo Day also received an Excellence Award at the Philippine Quill Awards, organized by the International Association of Business Communicators-Philippines.

Meanwhile, the AlDub for TNT campaign won a Quill Merit Award, as well as a Gold Anvil from the Public Relations Society of the Philippines.

Last year, it was named Best Operator Marketing Campaign at the Global Telecoms Awards ceremony held in London. This awards program is produced by industry publication Telecoms.com.

“We are honored by the international and local recognition that TNT has been receiving. We celebrate these ‘panalo’ moments with our customers, and promise to continue delivering value-packed and relevant services to them,” Choa said.

PS: Kung ganyan ang nalalaos just like bashers would claim, madami sigurong magpapalaos. ๐Ÿ˜
