Tweet Scoop: Jim Paredes Responds to Simplifying the Issue of Marcos Burial as Disagreement between Two Families

  1. Agree. This burial is not about whether your Anti-Marcos or Pro-Aquino, it's just so immoral and unfair most especially to the victims of Martial Law (even though it's not illegal) to have a former dictator be buried in a cemetery which was supposed to be an honourable place for former soldiers and presidents but it's sadly being soiled and the majority of today's youth either approves of it or don't care at all. Just goes to show how misinformation and ignorance can have drastic effects on society.

    2. why blame only marcos about the "matial law" how about the tapagpatupad nito which enrile and ramos.enrile even challenge this so called victim to file a case.

    6. Marcos formed a new set of oligarchs. So he wasn't against the idea of people monopolizing wealth. He just wanted the wealth to belong to him and his inner circle. Sila ang bagong lipunan oligarchs and remain so to this day even after martial law ended. Pinalitan lang nila ang dati.

DURA LEX SED LEX. so maglupasay man kayo, you can rant and you rave, mag-rally man kayo sa lahat ng sulok ng mundo, at the end of the day, ililibing pa rin si Macoy dyan sa LNMB. para sa akin wala akong paki kahit saan siya ilibing. di naman magbabago ang tingin ko sa kanya- diktador pa rin siya at may asawang ganid.

And yes there are victims and I wish them justice, pero paano naman yung mga taong satisfied at that time. Bakit sila pinagwawalang bahala?

While his cabinet members may be working properly, trying to improve programs for the nation, they have to keep cleaning up the mess he makes one after the other.

    6. LNMB is the official buried place of a deceased presidents and the Aquinos cannot change the interment policy for the reason that it was written on 1947 amendments and will also be accused of impartial executive decision, since Marcos wasnt convicted by final judgement of an offense involving moral turpitude the only branch of goverment can prohibit a burial is the judicial..Ninoy was one of the first ones who got arrested and imprisoned after the declaration of martial law and that conflicts everything for the Aquinos to change the abiding law.

      Delete
    7. Ninoy was incarcerated during martial law - nakulong.

      Delete
    8. Ninoy for being who he was against the Marcos regime and a victim of martial law coflicts what then Pres Quirino signed the LNMB law and policy in 1947 or 48..if the Aquinos force to influence the abiding law then they will be accuse of impartial governance or perhaps a form dictatorship for that lone matter..and by law Marcos has the all rights to be buried there ucause he is not convicted in the court of law involving moral turpitude or dishorably discharge of being a soldier

Just shows they are not true to their promises.

Libre google wag puro FB

    4. but the agreement between the Marcoses & Ramos was only applicable during his term. After that, the Marcos family can ask the succeeding Presidents the same request. It was only PRRD who gave them the approval, he also said that he will honor what the Supreme Court's decision will be. And we all know that the SC gave them the approval to bury PFM in LNMB

  11. Ganito yan, blame it on the lawmakers. Bakit hindi nila ginawan ng paraan na palitan ang rules sa mga nagpapalibing sa LNMB eh based on the law pasok sya, sana dati pa ginawan nila ng paraan yun. Kung dati ba ginawan nila ng paraan na palitan yung rules by adding Marcos can't be burried there due to some restrictions at napasa knowing Aquino naman ang president and for sure he will agree, palagay nyo sa ngayon magtyatyaga pa ba mga yan?
