Losing the Confrontation

When Revealing Actress (RA) was interviewed, people who witnessed and read about the interview were shocked and amused at the stories she claimed to be true. While none of the revealed names reacted in print, other personalities were suddenly caught in the web RA wove. Unfortunately, Feisty Celebrity (FC) was among those being dragged in RA’s revelations.
As other interviewers picked up the details of RA’s interview, they then dared ask FC her thoughts on the details revealed by RA. Most, of course, were curious if FC could verify what RA said about Hunk Talent (HT). Given her prim and proper image, such questions were offending to FC and if she dignifies such questions, then it would be like her confirming the level of her relationship with HT.
Feeling irritated at the implications of the stories of RA and being dragged in the web, FC approached a Powerful Personality (PP) to confide all her apprehensions at the tactless and thoughtless behavior of RA. FC said that she was not comfortable with RA and if possible can she not be given projects. PP then told Higher Boss (HB) of how FC felt towards RA. HB then told RA the thoughts of FC, but RA told her side.
The story did not stop there as HB confronted FC. After all, it seemed that FC was dictating what to do. Sometimes HB can be aggressive and FC felt the brunt of it. During their confrontation, HB said that whatever RA did was part of the job. Surprisingly, HB then cancelled the project of FC and said that RA will continue with hers. Thus, FC lost this round to RA. As for RA, while she did reveal much about her fellow talents, some people felt that she did not respect the reputation her parents have built in their years of working in the business.

However, their worlds are far apart. While LA sought fame and fortune, CP’s position allowed fame to liven up the chosen field. When LA had projects left and right, people admired him for his business sense. He chose to invest his money in several ventures, but as time passed, his businesses encountered many problems, which left him with financial issues.
Aggravating his woes is his dwindling career. When he had an offer to move to another station (AS), his home network (HN) stopped the deal. Thus, despite the press releases and a project that was waiting for him at AS, LA chose to stay at HN. After a few months, his projects at HN lessened until he was no longer visible, except for the rare moments when anniversaries are celebrated in a weekly variety show. Years passed and his fans wondered what has happened to him.
While his contemporaries managed to reinvent themselves and thus, strengthened their hold in showbiz, LA was unable to do any similar action. He remained stagnant and when that project finally came, it had to be postponed for a year or so. Thus, LA had nowhere to go. Unlike before, AS is no longer interested in signing him up.
When LA met up with CP, he told the latter his woes and the miseries he has to face. Being older and wiser, CP assured LA that things will work out and CP will do what could be done. After sometime, LA got an offer from the other network. Allegedly, it was through CP’s intercession with the bigwigs that LA was given work. The question of viewers watching his series is irrelevant, as he needs work.
During the times LA disappeared from the limelight, he was always seen with the society crowd and linked with women coming from the elite circles. Thus, people no longer wondered how LA could afford a certain lifestyle even without projects. So, why is LA seemingly desperate to have projects at the moment? Allegedly, even though LA was involved in relationships, he had a benefactor who made sure he was comfortable. Unfortunately, the benefactor broke up with LA, which left the latter out in the cold. Now, will CP assume the role of LA’s benefactor and make sure he will get the best with whatever CP can provide?

Letter from a Reader: Concerned Homeowner Raises Awareness on Burglary Occurrences in High-End Village

I am a homeowner from Ayala Westgrove Heights, a high-end village near NUVALI. We ask your help to expose a situation that Ayala has been keeping secret so that they continue to sell land at a very expensive amount per square meter without attending to the immediate safety of current owners.
Unknown to the public, the village is victim to continuous, UNRESOLVED burglary in which at least 10 houses were broken into during the wee hours of the morning (4 AM) since October 5. Since the police and the village security have both failed to resolve the mysterious theft incident and/or catch the criminals, they are now harassing homeowners by doing a "search" procedure in ALL cars leaving the village gates. This security measure has caused inconvenience for homeowners going out of the village.
Yet, when the security personnel are asked if they know what they are looking for, their reply is that THEY DO NOT EVEN KNOW. Thus, they invade the privacy of homeowners without any idea of what they are looking for. If they are looking for stolen goods, would these items be transported in such an obvious manner? This measure exhibits incompetence on the part of the security force.
Even if you drive the most expensive car and is far from being a thief (because your car is probably more expensive than the missing items), they will still search you. There is no discernment or respect for privacy and rights of individuals.
What's worse: they do not even have a search warrant to do so.
We need your help because this is the same AYALA group that has been involved in controversial issues, such as explosions at Glorietta and Serendra. They seem to be experts at UNRESOLVED issues and keeping the news buried to keep selling their properties at such an obscene amount. Fall victim by being a buyer, and you will regret investing with them.
I hope that via your well read blog, other homeowners and lot owners will come out and question the mismanagement of Ayala, the village association, and security. For now, we hope that the Ayalas will impose measures to prevent potential burglary and protect the welfare of their residents, who are living in their village hoping for peace of mind.
As for future lot buyers, I suggest you invest with another real estate company that will safeguard your interest as investors.
