COLOMBIA I am positive that I should be the third Miss Universe for my country Colombia because all I have of the attributes that a Latin woman has. I am a woman who is full of feeling and have the attributes that a women should have in Colombia and a Miss Universe should have for all of her events.
PHILIPPINES To be a Miss Universe is both an honor and responsibility. If I were to be Miss Universe, I will use my voice to influence the youth and I would raise awareness to certain causes like HIV awareness that is timely and relevant to my country which is the Philippines. I want to show the world, the universe rather, that I am confidently beautiful with a heart. Thank you.
Totoo ba yung answer nya dun sa una or sipsip answer lang? Normally hindi ako in favor sa bases pero dahil dun sa Spratly, kailangan natin ng gamitan relationship with the US Military. Pero grabe hah, hoooong hirap!
it's the most diplomatic answer she could give. totoo nman, wala nman tayu maipagmamalaki against territorial disputes with China, hindi ganun kalakas sandatahan natin, the only way is take advantage of friendship with America. tapos nasa MissU stage pa sya, an American based pageant. so yun ang pinaka-wise answer!
well for me tama naman answer nya. yung iba lang nagfefeeling na ayaw sa america eh wala nga sila magawa para pagtanggol ang bansa natin. ganun talaga give and take yan. kung meron nakukuha satin ang america meron din naman tayo nakukuha sa kanila.

Yung mali sa sagot nya is hindi tayo naging US colony. Spanish colony tayo. Yan ang pride ng pinoy, hindi tayo nasakop ng US. Ano pinagsasabi nya. Mukhang ibang history alam nya. Walang alam. Tsk.

To even work that much detail into her answer nakaka-amaze na. Something na hindi nagawa nung ibang candidates sa totoo lang.

The others looked very confident, but their answers were so mediocre - very beauty pageant lang. Yung kay Pia kitang-kitang mong nang-iisip.
Sabi nya sa interview kanina, hard review daw sya sa tatlong notebooks na nakuha nya sa tatlobg beses na pagsali sa Bb. Pilipinas. So medyo memorized na ni Pia ang posible answers sa mga possible questions.
Lahat naman nagpapractice ng sagot kahit anong contest pa yan. Wala naman pumunta at sumasali jan na hindi naghanda. And ano pa ba sa tingin mo ang itatanong sa ms.universe or any pageant, questions might be rephrased everytime but it is how you answer it and the content of your answer will make you the winner. Common sense.
And THAT is what makes her a winner. She was never too confident with her skills and experience, to the point na chill na lang sya at bahala na. She wanted to win, and she did everything she could to make sure she's ready to win. Although yung sagot nya sa question regarding sa US bases, it sounded spontaneous.
Duda ko may sabotage na naganap para ipahiya ang Ms. U Org. Anghirap naman paniwalaan na magkakamali nh basa ang host e ang layo ng pagitan ng pagkakasulat sa mga runner ups at ng Ms. U winner na written in bold letters pa! Not necessarily, dayain ang results kundi para ipahiya lang ang bagong namamahala ng Ms. U, para masira ang credibity ng pageant! Baka may kinalaman dito si Donald Trump at ang Mafia! Siyempre, sasabihin na lang na honest mistake ang nangyari sa parte g host para hindi na lumaki at mawalan ng credibility ng Ms. Universe Beauty Pageant! Kapansin pansin din na parang wala sa sarili si Harvey nung mga huling sandali ng pageant! Hindi kaya tinakot o nabayaran si Harvey para ilagay sa kahihiyan ang Ms. U beauty Pageant?
I commend Steve Harvey kasi sabi nila Miss Colombia daw talaga ang nakalagay sa Teleprompter. I salute him for taking responsibility and for being brave. Nalito lang talaga siya. Pero may tanong lang ako, sa pag aannounce ba ng winner sa Miss Universe, ano ba unang ina- announce yung First Runner up o yung Miss Universe mismo? first time ko kasi manuod ng Miss Universe eh.

I may not agree with her answer sa first question, but it was the safest and most strategic answer. And I don't think people should judge her with that response. HELLO, nasa USA ka and ang topic eh USA related tapos ne-nega ka? Always strategize! And dun sa mga naysayers diyan, try answering this question, within 30 seconds, in the most politically correct manner. Ano na? And considering LIVE pa ito!
As for the second question, that's when I knew that she really had this! WOW. True naman na she didn't answer the question directly, BUT sometimes being different is what would make you stand out (Case in point). She didn't sell herself, she sold what she could do if given the crown. Oh diba ang galing?

Because The US is desperate, DESPERATE to open their bases again in the country. It is part of the US national policy of 2013-- to enhance The US military presence in Asia. So, which country is being used for that to manifest? Of course it's none other than their favorite Asian 'rent boy' country, The Philippines! haha
