Regardless of the results, what I find absurd and rather SHAMEFUL is when a judge like Lupita, goes around to explain/justify her votes AND undermine a contestant by doing so. She just EXPOSED herself as irrelevant in an era that promotes Women Empowerment in beauty pageants.
But what she said is exactly what beauty pageants are about, right?! They judge women based on physical appearance and brains. Honestly, I don't consider beauty pageants as something that promotes women empowerment. Yang mga advocacies na yan, they're only pushing it para may masabi lang na empowerment or whatever.
No, she said among other "i could not see her advancing to Top 10...her body looks unbalanced" - never mind that Gazini totally made it to top 5. Yes i agree that in contests like these, you are judge based on physical appearance but to explain/justify your votes and doing it so horribly (by criticizing a woman) is my point here.
To begin with, bakit kinuhang judge ang isang national director? She gave perfect 10 to Mexico, her own candidate kahit di naman deserving. Saan ang delicadeza nya?
Seryoso sila? Nag expect sila na mananalo si Gazini sa MGI all stars? Ako kasi diko makita na sya mananalo sa MGI although magaling naman sya sa rampahan. Akala ko nga si Yamilex ang malakas miss latina kasi yun.
