    1. Affected sya and and na touch sya kay Rene. Simple as that.

    2. I pity people like you who see the bad, the negative, the worst in everything. Miserable people projecting their bitterness. Wala ng makitang mabuti o maganda. Lahat nalang questionable.

  8. Maybe she was deeply touch by Rene's story .

But since celebrity si Sofia, madali cya napansin.

  12. Whatever her intention is, genuine man or not. After all, yun naman ang importante talaga

    1. I agree with you, masyado nang negative mga iba dito, lahat na lang hinahanapan ng masamang anggulo.

  13. She is also a mom, ramdam din nya siguro yung pain ng nanay. Kahit si Claudine dumalaw din sa wake.

  14. Translation:

    1. Idk about the 'naka-smile pa,' but here's a brief historical context on the Philippine practice of taking photos of the dead which eventually evolved into taking photos and videos during lamay and libing -----

Recuerdo de patay (translating to "souvenir of the dead" in Spanish-Filipino) is a historical tradition of taking post-mortem photographs of recently deceased loved ones. Popularized in the Philippines during the American colonial period, it provided grieving families an affordable way to create a lasting keepsake of the departed.

The practice originated in 19th-century Europe and America before spreading to the Philippines. Before this era, only wealthy families could afford to commission painted portraits of their dead.

Photographers would visit the family's home, where the deceased was dressed in their best clothes or traditional attire. They were often posed to look as if they were sleeping, sitting upright, or surrounded by grieving family members to preserve a final, peaceful memory.

In a time when cameras were a rarity, this was frequently the only photograph a family (especially parents of young children) would ever have of their loved one.

In the modern digital age, the core essence of this practice has subtly shifted. While keeping open-casket post-mortem photos is mostly a thing of the past, contemporary mourning sometimes includes taking photographs or recording videos of wakes, or capturing final moments with the casket before it is buried.

    3. Kaya ako gusto ko ma cremate agad at walang lamay. Don't like the fanfare and expense behind burials.

  16. Not a sofia fan dahil pasosyal. But I wont question why she's there. She is rarely seen in public at makihalubilo sa public. She's not a politician either nor a bida in any show or movie now if im not mistaken. Let's give it to her. Ang pakikiramay ay pakikiramay regardless of the intention.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Claudine also attended Rene's wake in Arlington. Bumyahe talaga sya to Agusan?

    ReplyDelete
  18. Daming haters. Kayo ba na supposedly real na affected, what did you do to show support?

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  20. With all due Respect if you want to show the decency to give your condolences why is it that people aka artista /politicians only be visible at a Filipino funeral? What happened in showing honoring an athlete who is young love of the sport representing Philippines and sadly lost their lives who is a non Filipino as in Divine. WHY BE SELECTIVE? Why not also PAY RESPECT TO ANOTHER FELLOW ATHLETE? Sorry I find it simply a showcase of hypocrisy of showbiz & politicians 😡

Dedmahin nyo kung for clout nalang

    ReplyDelete
  23. everybody is so mean. Sofia paid her respects. period. what is so wrong about that.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Dami bashers. Mga pinoy nga naman di makuntento. Hayaan niyo sya kung gusto niya makiramay. Kayo nga kahit di niyo kakilala baka nakikikape kayo sa lamay e. 🙄
