    1. Tsk tsk napaka senseless naman nito. Hindi ito accident. This is negligence and people must be held accountable. Grabe kawawa naman itong mga namatay

  2. Gosh. Kalungkot naman. Question, sa ganitong situation, ie team building, may pananagutan ba ang school? Im aware they are grown up, etc. and drowning is an accident, but curious lang ako dahil kumbaga it happened during a school activity.

    2. Naalala ko dati, my mom's school was also subjected to this kind of accountability. Bata pa ako noon, may student silang nalunod because of ROTC. Na TV patrol pa yun eh. Nanagot yung school and yung teacher din who organised this activity. 4th year highschool, gagraduate na sana in few months. Tapos yung mga kasama din sa activity, they were all traumatised, yung isa dun bestfriend ng kuya ko, iyak siya ng iyak kasi dalawa sila nalunod, nakaligtas siya so naguiguilty siya na bakit siya buhay yung kaibigan niya hindi. Very tragic!

    5. Maski may waiver, it doesn’t stop you to pursue legal action.

    6. 12:34 and 12:49 in our law there is such a thing as a "void waiver".

    7. Sana walang waiver para managot ang school.

  4. Grabe paano ba yan sagutin sya ng school? sabi sa interview ng isang player yung team building nila para silang mga nagttraining na sundalo. Kawawa ang pamilya nilang naiwan at nasayang na buhay.

  6. Nakakaawa, it’s beyond unreasonable na dahil lang sa obstacles or team building part of training, nagkakaganito.
May isa din na muntik na din namatay but narevive. It is heartbreaking!!

    1. trust them?? they will likely put all the blame sa coach or ibang tao when it’s already known na may incident na muntikan din malunod na before same scenario,
pero di nila nireprimand to stop so naulit and lumala na may mga victims na this time!!

  15. I am deeply saddened by what happened today.

I experienced something similar during my UAAP Juniors Basketball days with one of the teams I played for, during my rookie year. Before the start of every season, after the final roster was finalized, a team building activity was usually conducted to strengthen camaraderie among players and coaches and to prepare the team mentally, emotionally, and physically for the challenges ahead of the upcoming season.

Unfortunately, there were times when some senior players or older teammates took these activities too far. Instead of fostering unity, they would sometimes power trip rookies and newcomers, often as a form of retaliation for what they themselves experienced in previous team building activities.

Of course, not all schools conduct team building activities in the same way. In this particular case, it happened at the beach, and we do not know whether all the players involved knew how to swim or if some felt pressured to participate for the sake of team camaraderie and acceptance.

I hope the school will hold a press conference and provide a clear and transparent explanation of what happened. More importantly, accountability must be taken by everyone involved, including the school, the coaches, and the players, if necessary. Incidents like this should never be taken lightly, especially when lives are lost.

My thoughts and prayers are with the families, friends, and teammates of the young athletes affected by this tragedy.

    Rest in peace. Fly high.

  16. I would blame the coach for implementing a fatal training course for the student-athletes and the school for tolerating it

  17. So young and promising. Condolences to their families. RIP. 🙏

Ang goal naman is to shoot as many balls as possible kaya dapat ang test is yung maging sharp shooter.

  20. So sorry. May your souls rest in peace.
