DeleteNo, she is conservative, child and innocence protecting, Christian mother. Children are not allowed to drive, own a gun, vote and be responsible for their lives before they are 18. They are not yet socially and psychologically equipped and mature to make life-chamging decisions. Their understanding of politics and ideologies are shallow. Anyone can make choices, but let kids be kids. If you, by virtue of hype qnd teend, knowingly allow a child to have parts of themselves removed before they are mature enough to make that decision for themselves, then you are doing child mutilation, and that is criminal. If FGM is mirally, legally and ethically wrong even if it's based on long-standing traditions of the Arab world, then surely trans-operations for kids is no different. God gave you your person, all your parts. Your kids too. Protect them until they can make informed decisions for themselves. Leave politics out of it.
